Praise the LORD! Praise HIM when you wake and when you step out of bed, as soon as your feet hit the floor. Praise HIM as you hold your first cup of coffee and then adore HIM again in the car. Praise HIM everywhere you are and everywhere you go. Revere HIM and admire HIM.
PSALM 150: 6 “LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD.”
Honestly, we can never praise GOD enough in our days. And when our days are rough, who do we usually focus on? That is when our prayers become more about us rather than HIM. GOD shouldn’t be our genie in a bottle that gives us all of our requests.
See today if your prayer to GOD only glorifies HIM? No requests allowed.
Yes, I said it. Just glorify HIM. Praise HIM and praise HIM some more. Because when you do something happens that you don’t even see. Your focus on the right thing is “on the right thing.” Let your one thing today be that you only see HIM, no more and no less, not yourself only GOD. And notice how your countenance changes. Notice how the weight of yourself actually lifts. Notice how you begin to feel…….joy!
NEHEMIAH 8: 10 “AND DO NOT BE GRIEVED, FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH.”
I’ve had this scripture memorized for a while and it reminds me to just praise GOD! Praise HIM from whom all blessings flow. You might say that your life is a mess right now, but don’t you think GOD loves you enough to take care of your mess and straighten it all out in due time? What can we do in the waiting and in the meantime? We praise HIM! Praise HIM with all our hearts and souls. Don’t ask and ask. Take one day a week to try this praising and watch how your heart changes. Spend more time praising and less time obsessing and grumbling about your troubles. Remember GOD is a problem solver and HE knows what is troubling you.
PSALM 148: 13 “LET THEM PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD, FOR HIS NAME ALONE IS EXALTED; HIS GLORY IS ABOVE HEAVEN AND EARTH.”
You will find the more you praise GOD, the bigger HE gets and the smaller your problems seem to be. Because of HIS majesty HE is great and HE is good. HE knows our hearts and HE knows what we need, even before we ask. So today don’t ask HIM……instead worship and praise HIM. Adore HIM more, worry less. Stay vertical in all your thinking and the horizontal world will just fade in comparison.
OUR INTIMACY WITH GOD WILL DEEPEN THE MORE WE PRAISE HIM.
To praise GOD is to love HIM and to love HIM is to adore and abide with HIM. Behold your GOD today and let your praise ring out!
PSALM 147: 11 “THE LORD FAVORS THOSE WHO FEAR HIM, THOSE WHO WAIT FOR HIS LOVINGKINDNESS.”

Amen and Amen! Praise His Holy Name! 🙌🏻

Amen 🙏🤗 There is great freedom in simply praising God for who He is rather than focusing on what we need. When our eyes are fixed on His goodness, faith grows, peace settles in, and our hearts are reminded that He is worthy of our worship in every season. 🙏
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised. – Psalm 145:3.

I just love doing……worshipping HIM and forgetting about myself and all my needs. I need HIM and GOD alone.

We praise God because He is worthy. Our worship should not depend on our emotions. We don’t praise Him because we feel like it – although we often start feeling like it when we do praise Him. 😉
