I say this, to invite someone, because it is so simple and doesn’t cost much. Your intentional act of reaching out could change someone’s life. I tend to wonder what matters most in GOD’S eyes. Is it the big things we do that everyone notices or is it the small that no one sees? We know that HE sees all and is all knowing…….
2 SAMUEL 7: 20 “FOR YOU KNOW YOUR SERVANT, SOVEREIGN LORD.”
And so today, contemplate with me if the smallest of deeds we carry out or the smallest of seeds we plant are seen by HIM as important and valuable?
MATTHEW 13: 31-32 “HE TOLD THEM ANOTHER PARABLE: THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE A MUSTARD SEED, WHICH A MAN TOOK AND PLANTED IN HIS FIELD. THOUGH IT IS THE SMALLEST OF SEEDS, YET WHEN IT GROWS, IT IS THE LARGEST OF GARDEN PLANTS AND BECOMES A TREE, SO THAT THE BIRDS COME AND PERCH IN IT’S BRANCHES.”
Knowing the smallest of seeds, that mustard seed, can grow into a huge thriving tree is kind of mind blowing if you think about it. And at the same time, the smallest of intentions when done for the LORD’S glory and HIS Kingdom, will, and do make a difference in our world.
The smallest of acts, the ones we think no one sees, our Father in Heaven sees. If you feel today, unseen, or unheard, or barely noticed, just know YOUR GOD sees all and HE is never too busy to not notice all we say and do.
BE INTENTIONAL WITH THE SMALLEST OF SEEDS AND BELIEVE GOD HIMSELF WILL GROW THEM.
It’s not all up to us, but what is up to us is that small little intentional step. Being obedient to that nudge GOD gives you, even if you don’t see the outcome is worth it. We don’t need to understand all or figure it all out……..because GOD does. HE sees and HIS hand is all around us, causing all of life to go on according to HIS plan for our world. The smallest acts we do then, if we are following HIM fit into HIS master plan. Let’s be comforted by this!
THINKING OF THE MUSTARD SEED, HOW CAN WE NOT BELIEVE THAT THE SMALLEST OF THE SMALL IS NOT IMPORTANT TO GOD?
Because GOD has designed our world and has a plan for it, shouldn’t we be intentional about the small too? Everything we do, every step we take is all leading us to HIS eternal Kingdom, HIS Kingdom of glory.
JOSHUA 1: 3 “I WILL GIVE YOU EVERY PLACE WHERE YOU SET YOUR FOOT, AS I PROMISED MOSES.”
Every place……every deed…….every word…….every little thing, no matter how small done with intentionality matters. It matters to GOD. What we say and do today is seen and noted by the great GOD of our universe. And HE loves us for it, because we do these small acts in HIS name. Be comforted today in the small and be confident with your big and Majestic GOD! HIS heart and HIS grace will take everything, no matter how small and grow it into something valuable for the Kingdom.
PSALM 33: 15 “HE FASHIONS THEIR HEARTS INDIVIDUALLY; HE CONSIDERS ALL THEIR WORK.”

We DID invite someone to coffee, and we met this morning! 😊 It really was a blessing all around. As you say, such a simple thing, but it’s giving time to someone, really listening, and making sure that person knows they are SEEN. We loved it.

Oh wow……so wonderful. There have been 2 ladies in our Church, no actually 3 now that I said, hey want to go to coffee and now we meet whenever we can. It is such a wonderful thing to do and yes the person feels seen and loved!

Love this… The small, quiet acts really do matter, especially when they’re done with love. God sees what others miss, and nothing done in His name is wasted. Keep being intentional with those small seeds. Amen 🙏

I’m trying my Dear Sister. Even through those trials and struggles (as you can relate). All we can do is lean on HIm even more, but why is it that we find it so difficult to do?
