GOD’S BEAUTY

By the time you read this I will be in beautiful Hawaii.  I’ve always said it is a place where everywhere you look you see GOD’S steadfast hand in creation.

 I wanted to leave you then with a little IOU…….

I   “INCLINE MY HEART TO YOUR TESTIMONIES AND NOT TO SELFISH GAIN.”  PSALM 119: 36

O  “OPEN MY EYES THAT I MAY BEHOLD WONDEROUS THINGS OUT OF YOUR LAW.”  PSALM 119: 18

U  “UNITE MY HEART TO FEAR YOUR NAME.”  PSALM 86:11

S   “SATISFY US IN THE MORNING WITH YOUR STEADFAST LOVE, THAT WE MAY REJOICE AND BE GLAD ALL OUR DAYS.”  PSALM 90: 14

HOW WONDERFUL GOD’S WORDS ARE THAT WE CAN PRAY THEM ALWAYS. AS I DO THESE EACH AND EVERY MORNING.

  1. I love that God’s blessings go around and come around. What a blessing you always are to me, Maxine.

    This Sunday morning I am looking out my SD window at a blizzard; also God’s great creation. We are grateful for a snug and cozy home.

    1. Oh I bet! I remember lots of warm & Cozy days in Colorado. Our current house feels very cozy when it rains here…….yes it does rain in the desert which was a surprise to me! Blessings to you and thanks for BEING a blessing!!

  3. My Dear Sister, I really love the IOU you shared here. What a beautiful way to hold onto God’s Word in prayer each morning. Those verses are such a powerful reminder to keep our hearts inclined toward Him, to ask Him to open our eyes, unite our hearts, and satisfy us with His steadfast love. That alone is such a wonderful way to start each day.

    And WOW… Hawaii. That has been on my bucket list for years. I sometimes feel like I may never get the chance to visit the islands myself, but I Hope you enjoy it for me as well as yourself and your husband…

    Heavenly Father, please watch over Maxine on her journey. Surround her with Your Peace, keep her safe in every step, and let the beauty of Your creation in Hawaii refresh her heart and spirit. May every sunrise, ocean breeze, and quiet moment remind her of Your Greatness and Your Love.

    Enjoy every moment of the beauty God has placed before you.

    1. Thanks Willie. If you can believe it, it actually down rain every single day. Had to come home to AZ to see the sun again. But we ate good and rested. And GOD got us there and home safely. No airplane delays at all! That was a blessing in and of itself! YOU are so LOVED!!
