HEAVENSREEF

It’s in the waiting that refines your patience.  It’s in the listening that refines your ear to hear what needs to be heard.  It’s in the praying that refines your character and builds your relationship with GOD growing closer to HIM.  And it’s in the frustration that we learn all of this lesson due to GOD’s hand upon us which is most important.

We just finished studying the book of Habakkuk in the Old Testament and I so recommend it’s wisdom there.  Because with GOD there is comfort in the heartache you may have.  We all go through wresting especially in the waiting……..but GOD is always and will forever be faithful!

DEUTERONOMY 7: 9  “KNOW THEREFORE THAT THE LORD YOUR GOD IS GOD, THE FAITHFUL GOD WHO KEEPS COVENANT AND STEADFAST LOVE WITH THOSE WHO LOVE HIM AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, TO A THOUSAND GENERATIONS.”

And so we wait and question and cry out sometimes in anger and sometimes in sorrow…….but GOD is bigger than any of this!

HABAKKUK  1: 5  “LOOK AMONG THE NATIONS, AND SEE; WONDER AND BE ASTOUNDED.  FOR I AM DOING A WORK IN YOUR DAYS THAT YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE IF TOLD.”

In our waiting we should be looking…….looking for HIS wonder and HIS work in our lives, because it is always there.  Let’s not miss GOD’s hand in the problem we have!

HABAKKUK 2: 1  “I WILL TAKE MY STAND AT MY WATCHPOST AND STATION MYSELF ON THE TOWER, AND LOOK OUT TO SEE WHAT HE WILL SAY TO ME…….”

Just look and see……..where ultimately your faith has changed the course of your life.  There is always a before and an after with our problems and GOD intends for our faith to grow.

When GOD opens our eyes and we give HIM our whole heart, HE sends us on a mission and journey that is special and unique.

PSALM 139: 7  “WHERE SHALL I GO FROM YOUR SPIRIT?  OR WHERE SHALL I FLEE FROM YOUR PRESENCE?”

Our faith changes our path of life.  Do you remember when you were seeking after the world and now seek after HIM?  Some see a specific season or moment, but whenever it happened, in the waiting and wrestling, GOD put HIS hand upon you and your life was never the same!

Praise GOD today……..for HIS blessings and grace, for the waiting and wrestling, because HE is holding your faith in HIS hand and like Habakkuk says:

HABAKKUK 3:  18  – 19  “…….YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD; I WILL TAKE JOY IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION.  GOD, THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH; HE MAKES MY FEET LIKE THE DEER’S; HE MAKES ME TREAD ON MY HIGH PLACES.”
