Sometimes there are things in this life that there are just no explanation for. When I remember back in my life, I do see many situations that I have questions for GOD as far as why did that happen or whatever happened to so and so??
NOT KNOWING REALLY IS A GREAT MERCY FROM GOD.
GOD shields us from things that are too heavy for us to bear. And we all have to bear something. And then there are those life events that are revealed to us that we can either embrace and draw nearer to GOD and ask HIM to help us carry or we can easily be crushed under the weight of them.
PROVERBS 25: 2 “IT IS THE GLORY OF GOD TO CONCEAL A MATTER.”
We are not meant to know everything here, although we sure have access to all the information in the world. But GOD’S wisdom can sure be a mystery and when we trust HIM with our whole being and life, we just have to accept it when we just don’t know or understand why. So, are we ok with this idea? The not knowing for now?
When GOD fixed the stars in the heavens and established the waves of the sea, HE also considered HIS WISDOM.
JOB 28: 27-28 “……..THEN HE SAW IT AND DECLARED IT; HE ESTABLISHED IT, AND SEARCHED IT OUT. AND HE SAID TO MAN, BEHOLD, THE FEAR OF THE LORD, THAT IS WISDOM, AND TO TURN AWAY FROM EVIL IS UNDERSTANDING.”
We are not meant to know everything here because GOD’S wisdom is greater than us. Our trust in GOD is more important to HIM than our understanding.
SOMETIMES NO EXPLANATION IS A GIFT.
What may be the unexplained might just be there so we will turn to GOD with all our questions and learn to trust HIS Sovereign hand over our lives. Seeking HIM and following HIS plan, even when we don’t understand is at the heart of all our faith. It’s a trust, a trust that develops over time. And then we are not left with as many questions, as answers that we come to see over time. I don’t know about you, but I like that there is a mystery. I like that I don’t have all the answers, but my FATHER in heaven does. I like that the world beyond this one………is true perfection, just waiting for me.
Even JESUS’ very own disciples dealt with many things and situations they did not understand, but they moved forward out of faith and trust. They grew in their faith when they didn’t know.
LUKE 9: 45 “BUT THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS MEANT. IT WAS HIDDEN FROM THEM, SO THAT THEY DID NOT GRASP IT……..”
Sometimes, no explanation is a gift to protect us and to protect our tender hearts. Maybe no explanation here is a gift for there……for in the afterlife to come. And later to be known and revealed in Heaven will be absolutely wonderful don’t you think?
1 CORINTHIANS 2: 7 “BUT WE SPEAK THE WISDOM OF GOD IN A MYSTERY, THE HIDDEN WISDOM WHICH GOD ORDAINED BEFORE THE AGES FOR OUR GLORY.”
When we rise to glory with our LORD, it is there we will know more and it is there that our hearts will finally be at rest. What a great GOD we have today that gives us some answers now and leaves some answers for when we will meet HIM face to face!
2 CHRONICLES 30: 9 “FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL AND WILL NOT TURN AWAY HIS FACE FROM YOU, IF YOU RETURN TO HIM.”
I think this is one of the keys to peace, that we may accept the fact that God knows and understands far more than we can ever hope in this life; and that He chooses what when how how much to reveal.
Those who do not accept may lead a bitter life, fists raised to God for not revealing everything they want to know and understand RIGHT NOW.

It’s in His perfect wisdom and love that He gives some answers and some we just don’t understand. May we always trust in His faithfulness and steadfastness at those time.
