HEAVENSREEF

Each of us carries a type of broken inside us……we carry it around and sometimes the weight of it is hard. It’s a comfort to me knowing that GOD sees my heart and comes near, knowing what I have endured and yet with HIS help I am still standing and still searching. Some people search and search for meaning and for a place of comfort. And then there are some that are able to search for pearls.

YOU CAN CONTINUE TO SEARCH FOR PEARLS EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR HURT.

When you search for pearls, you will find a gem……..the Kingdom of GOD. Searching for kingdoms here on earth always leads to a disappointment, but oh, the heavenly kingdom is so much more!

JESUS spoke again and again of the hidden treasures that are available for us to find…….

MATTHEW 13: 44 “THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE TREASURE HIDDEN IN A FIELD; WHICH A MAN FOUND AND COVERED UP. THEN IN HIS JOY HE GOES AND SELLS ALL THAT HE HAS AND BUYS THAT FIELD.”

What would you give or sacrifice for this treasure? Would you be willing to give up your health, your family, your wealth or your status? Would you be willing to suffer for the sake of this kingdom? What about your time or your talent? Even in the midst of all of this, we should never stop searching for those pearls, those gems, those things that are of eternal value.

MATTHEW 13: 45-46 “AGAIN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE A MERCHANT IN SEARCH OF FINE PEARLS, WHO, ON FINDING ONE PEARL OF GREAT VALUE, WENT AND SOLD ALL THAT HE HAD AND BOUGHT IT.”

I guess we have to honestly ask ourselves if there is something here that we value more than JESUS and the kingdom. Because if we do, then our priorities need to be rearranged. Would you do anything, search everywhere for the Kingdom of Heaven? Because it is there and JESUS awaits us when we get there. In the meantime what we can do here is tell people around us about the gem we have found…..the pearl of righteousness, which is JESUS CHRIST. And what a gem HE is, what a SAVIOR HE is……there is none like HIM. HE is building a kingdom for us, one of fine pearls and streets of gold. HE did this for us, because HE wants us there with HIM. So if you haven’t today, go in search for this gem. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! JESUS is waiting just for you!

REVELATION 21: 21 “THE TWELVE GATES WERE TWELVE PEARLS, EACH GATE MADE OF A SINGLE PEARL. THE GREAT STREET OF THE CITY WAS OF GOLD, AS PURE AS TRANSPARENT GLASS.”
