The scene above and where I live in AZ is a continual reminder to me to praise GOD for HIS grace and mercy.  I love the saguaro cactus and how they stand tall with arms raised as if to praise GOD in all of HIS creation.  Some might think the desert is ugly, but the longer I live here, the more it reveals it’s special beauty to me.  One has to continually gaze upon something to see it in a different light than before.  And so it goes with our GOD…….our gaze helps us see that there really is something we don’t have to fight for anymore.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO FIGHT FOR YOUR WORTH

You are worthy dear reader………did you know?  Embrace what I am telling you here.  When you question your value or your worth, look to JESUS, who died for you on the Cross and that my friend means……..everything!

We don’t have to prove to anyone who we are.  The world might tell you that you need to prove yourself, but JESUS won’t.  HE died for our sins because of HIS great love for us and because of that love, we are now HIS children.

1 JOHN 2:  12   “I AM WRITING TO YOU, LITTLE CHILDREN, BECAUSE YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN FOR HIS NAME’S SAKE.”

No, we need not fight for our worth, because our worth is in CHRIST.  Remember this:  HE who is in you is greater than he who is in the world!  Therefore, CHRIST abides in us and we abide in HIM.  HE is our worth.  Walk in HIM, know HIM, know HIS words to you, love HIM and there is your worth!

YOU CAN HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT HE WHO ABIDES IN YOU……..IS THE TRUTH!

Don’t let the world define you and don’t let other people define you either.  Let that all go today.  Don’t let stuff define you either because it’s not about the cars or the house or the stuff you own.  Those are the things the world chases after.  Be content in CHRIST.  I always think that HE gives me “just enough” of everything.  In that, I stop striving and stop trying to prove my worth.  Because HE alone is my worth!

1 JOHN 2:  29  “IF YOU KNOW THAT HE IS RIGHTEOUS, YOU MAY BE SURE THAT EVERYONE WHO PRACTICES RIGHTEOUSNESS HAS BEEN BORN OF HIM.”

Be sure………be sure dear one.  We are born of HIM and in HIM and therefore, we are worthy.  Read this and embrace HIS words:

1 JOHN 3:  1   “SEE WHAT KIND OF LOVE THE FATHER HAS GIVEN TO US, THAT WE SHOULD BE CALLED CHILDREN OF GOD; AND SO WE ARE.”

And so we are…….you and me.  We are HIS, held in HIS hands every single day.

1 JOHN 3:  2  “BELOVED, WE ARE GOD’S CHILDREN NOW…….”

We are HIS…….now……..because we have believed HIS truth to us, that HIS sacrificial death saved us from ourselves.  Right now, we belong to the Savior of the world, the wonderful Counselor and the Prince of Peace.  And so we are worthy, you and me, because HE is worthy and the Lamb of GOD who was slain for you and me.  Embrace this today my friend, and thank JESUS for the Cross.  No one on this earth would die in such a manner to save you.  And so, you are worthy and you are loved!

EPHESIANS 4:  1-3   “I THEREFORE, A PRISONER FOR THE LORD, URGE YOU TO WALK IN A MANNER WORTHY OF THE CALLING TO WHICH YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED, WITH ALL HUMILITY AND GENTLENESS, WITH PATIENCE, BEARING WITH ONE ANOTHER IN LOVE, EAGER TO MAINTAIN THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT IN THE BOND OF PEACE.”
