OUR KNEES – THE TRUEST VANTAGE POINT

Let’s go to our knees more!

Hello everyone!  I am back after a much needed vacation that was beautiful and restful.  I was able to write too.  I am always thrilled when the LORD gives me more posts to write, so here goes and I hope this encourages you today.

If you think on it, being on your knees gives you a different vantage point.

GO TO YOUR KNEES ONCE TODAY AND HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE THE LORD.

I see where humility is found there especially if you have old knees in the first place!  Oh, I see where humility is found as I bend and go low, where I am smaller, where my heart turns away from myself and towards my GOD in heaven.

PHILIPPIANS 2: 10   “…….SO THAT AT THE NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH AND UNDER THE EARTH.”

Every……..knee……..will…….bow.  Let our knees wear out the floor!  This is a good thing because GOD wants our prayers more than HE wants our works.

JOB 4: 4   “YOUR WORDS HAVE UPHELD HIM WHO WAS STUMBLING, AND YOU HAVE MADE FIRM THE FEEBLE KNEES.”

Sometimes life makes us weak in the knees……..and still, GOD braces knees that buckle!  When knees are weak, HE gives us strength.  We stand tall with the LORD the best when we are on our knees!

I wonder in JESUS’ day did the old and feeble still go to their knees?  Without excuse?  Maybe we should attempt more…….because the vantage point there, on our knees is up, looking at a Holy GOD who loves us…………the knee vantage point becomes vertical indeed!

Today, find your knees, then find your HOLY GOD!  Come, let us kneel before HIM together!

PSALM 95: 6   “COME, LET US BOW DOWN IN WORSHIP, LET US KNEEL BEFORE THE LORD OUR MAKER.”

  1. I find it sad that kneeling at church services has gone “out of style,” so to speak. We live in a culture that teaches us to “bow to no one;” that we, the strong, are in complete control.

I love that your post calls us to our knees again. When we put our bodies in a position of submission to God, it engenders more worship, and opens us to more clear communication with Him.

    1. I do love at our Church our Pastor Adam often asks us to turn around where our seats are and to kneel! This was a first for me to experience at this Church. Not everyone does it, but I love it. Blessings dear one today!

  2. Welcome Back, Sister…. Beautiful reminder…. There’s power and perspective on our knees. Humility brings us closest to His heart. Let’s bow low and look up together. 🙏
