Now that Easter has come and gone we must decide if we receive the resurrection or reject it.  And how do we live going forward?  Do we tell others or keep all of what JESUS did to ourselves?

Because the resurrection was the best news in all of history.  Our GOD came down in love, sacrificed HIMSELF for all and then rose from the grave.  When we receive all of HIS grace of the CROSS then we should go and tell others about this most amazing news.  JESUS met the women at the empty tomb said to them:  “Greetings and go and tell……..”

MATTHEW  28 :   19-20  “GO THEREFORE AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THAT I HAVE COMMANDED YOU.  AND BEHOLD, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, TO THE END OF THE AGE.”

When we look to JESUS and the CROSS do we see the grace there?  The resurrection promises all the grace we need between JESUS’ resurrection and ours!  Oh how HE gives us greater grace!

JAMES 4: 6  “BUT HE GIVES GREATER GRACE.  THEREFORE IT SAYS:  “GOD OPPOSES THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.”

The shadow of the CROSS and the resurrection should humble us greatly.  It should motivate us to follow the ONE who died for us and to obey HIS law and then to go and tell others about this grace that found us!

WE ARE FOUND IN OUR SIN STATE BY THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE!

We are found and changed forever.  Because we were found when we were so very lost, we can give thanks forever too.  We have been included into the greatest story ever told and it is up to us now to go and tell about this story.

The resurrection tells us that JESUS reigns.  Our world is not out of control but is in HIS capable hands, guiding everything under the sun and moon and stars.

The resurrection verifies HIS word and truth for us.  The resurrection was foretold and now we have witnessed what JESUS has done for us.  It is truth verified and we are to stand on that truth  all the days of our lives and when we witness and serve.  

Let us make a commitment to remember HIS resurrection all year long, not just on Easter Day…….and when we do, let us then, go and tell!

MATTHEW 28: 7  “THEN GO QUICKLY AND TELL HIS DISCIPLES THAT HE HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD, AND BEHOLD, HE IS GOING BEFORE YOU TO GALILEE; THERE YOU WILL SEE HIM.  SEE, I HAVE TOLD YOU.”
