This week we celebrate one day of love……..love for others.  Some celebrate with hearts and chocolate, others with a nice dinner out and there are countless ways to celebrate your love for someone. 

LIVE A LIFE OF LOVE FOR OTHERS AND YOU WILL TRULY LIVE.

JESUS commanded us to love one another, to love our enemies and to love HIM with all our heart, soul and mind.  And because we love JESUS, our love for others should be shown in our actions, words and deeds.

MATTHEW 7: 16  “YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS.”

When we seek peace, we love others.  When we seek mercy and grace, we extend love beyond ourselves.

THE ONLY TRUE WAY TO LOVE IS THROUGH CHRIST OUR LORD.

Isn’t HE our example?  Isn’t HE our one true love?  HE fills us every day with HIS love so we can reach and fill others, the hurting and the broken.

IN SPITE OF OUR SINS HE LOVES US STILL

Oh how HE loves us, oh how HE died for us!   Let us ask with sincere hearts for HIS love to spill into us and fill us up so that we can extend HIS love towards others around us.

So this week as we celebrate a day of love, let’s remember our first love, JESUS CHRIST.  And when we remember HIM and what HIS great sacrifice of love was for us, let us leave noticeable marks of HIS love everywhere we go.  Because HE loved us that much!  And because we love HIM so very much!
