Because JESUS is our King………the King changes everything. Jesus the King coming for us, changes us.
The wise men knew that the KING would change everything and we would be wise to know this too! They arrived in Jerusalem and said this:
MATTHEW 2: 2 “WHERE IS THE ONE WHO WAS BORN TO BE THE KING OF THE JEWS?”
The wise men came to seek the KING because the KING changes everything. From that time in history till now. And even now the KING changes everything, HE changes our circumstances and our hearts and in spite of ourselves, HE keeps coming for us! So glory to this newborn KING!
Let us search this day for HIM, this KING who is so approachable that we can come as we are, all broken and with sin. When we do find HIM, after we search with all heart and soul, we should fall to our knees in reverence and awe, just as the wise men did.
And what king is there that doesn’t live for himself? But this KING, this SAVIOR, this IMMANUEL, lived and came for us with HIS immeasurable grace and mercy and love. HE sacrificed and died on a CROSS for us. HE came from above to live with us and to love us, and HE lives with us to this very day because HIS spirit is within us. HE is the KING of the mountains and the hills and HIS glory is there for all to see.
JEREMIAH 10:10 “BUT THE LORD IS THE TRUE GOD; HE IS THE LIVING GOD AND THE EVERLASTING KING.”
For this KING JESUS, this KING of glory came for us and HIS sacrifice on the Cross is beyond worth, beyond anything on this earth that we might treasure. Instead, this day, treasure HIM! Treasure the GOD of glory and the KING of the universe! GLORY to the newborn KING! May we love this eternal KING this special KING who changes lives, renews hearts and redeems everything too. So…….come, let us adore HIM, and…….
GLORY TO THE KING WHO CHANGES EVERYTHING!
