HEAVENSREEF

Our very joy this season is dependent on how we see our extraordinary GOD who came to earth to be with HIS children.  Because…….. we have a GOD of possible, a great GOD who flipped the world of darkness on it’s head into HIS marvelous light.

Mary understood this and had this joy.   In the beginning in the book of LUKE, the angel Gabriel visited her and she must have been astonished and awe struck.  The angel told her she would conceive a child even though she was a virgin.  This immaculate conception many have an issue with but…….

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!

Nothing was impossible then for the Holy Spirit to come upon the highly favored Mary and to overshadow her in this most extraordinary way because…….

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE………WITH GOD.

And nothing can or will be impossible for you and for me when we have the SOVEREIGN LORD with us.   How often do things around us get the best of us and we think: there is just no way, no way this will ever change, no way this will ever turn around, no way this could be better. 

BUT WITH GOD THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY!

Let’s remember, you and I cannot be undone because what man means for evil, GOD intends it all for good.

GENESIS 50: 20  “YOU INTENDED TO HARM ME, BUT GOD INTENDED IT FOR GOOD…….”

We can apply this to anything we know.   As for me I can say this: cancer intended to harm me, but GOD intended it for good……for my own good!  Is there a circumstance this Christmas that you can ponder and see HIS good and gracious HAND in?  Even though you may be walking in a very hard place, if you see GOD, keep your vertical focus there and you will find your joy in HIM!

PSALM 5: 11  “BUT LET ALL THOSE REJOICE WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN YOU;  LET THEM EVER SHOUT FOR JOY, BECAUSE YOU DEFEND THEM.  LET THOSE ALSO WHO LOVE YOUR NAME BE JOYFUL IN YOU.”

GOD always intends for our good.  From the fall of man and our sin, HE intended HIS SON to come into our world for the good of man.

LUKE 2: 13-14  “AND SUDDENLY THERE APPEARED WITH THE ANGEL A GREAT MULTITUDE OF THE HEAVENLY HOST, PRAISING GOD AND SAYING: GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND ON EARTH PEACE TO MEN ON WHOM HIS FAVOR RESTS.”

On whom HIS favor rests……..because nothing is impossible for GOD.  And nothing is impossible for you and for me this Christmas.

So let’s prepare our hearts for the love that GOD sends you in the form of the greatest gift ever given:  JESUS CHRIST!

Because……..nothing is impossible and all things are possible……this CHRISTMAS with GOD!

MARK 10: 27  “BUT JESUS LOOKED AT THEM AND SAID, WITH MEN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE, BUT NOT WITH GOD; FOR WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.”
