KEEP LETTING GO………it’s an ok thing to do this, this daily letting go of the stuff of this world. Letting go is a continuous action, a perseverance that GOD gives you because it is in our nature to hold tight to material things and the people around us. But as scripture tells us, all is passing away.
ECCLESIASTES 6: 12 “FOR WHO KNOWS WHAT IS GOOD FOR MAN WHILE HE LIVES THE FEW DAYS OF HIS VAIN LIFE, WHICH HE PASSES LIKE A SHADOW.”
Only GOD knows what is good for us and HE wants us to let go………and let GOD! So, it is a good thing to hold loosely what we know and hold tightly to what we do not see! Because HE is Sovereign over it all.
JOHN 12: 25 “ANYONE WHO LOVES THEIR LIFE WILL LOSE IT, WHILE ANYONE WHO HATES THEIR LIFE IN THIS WORLD WILL KEEP IT FOR ETERNAL LIFE.”
This world is exhausting and cruel, but in GOD’S hands our world turns to peace and freedom, with purpose and provision. But we have to daily let go. Let go because there is a better place we were made for: HIS KINGDOM. We were made for a better world, you know it and so do I deep deep down. We all have that hole inside of us that nothing or no one can satisfy……..except GOD.
Letting go requires discipline and awareness of who we are in CHRIST. Letting go requires us to turn our faces vertical. Letting go means letting go of self too…….. holding on even tighter to the GOD of grace and love who made us in HIS image.
Let’s periodically take notice of whether our hands are holding onto things too tightly. There is freedom in letting go of all things here on this earth. It is hard to do, cause we are human, so ask GOD to show you how. Because HE wants all of us, our hearts, souls and minds. And HE wants us to know we are going to a better place because HE wants us with HIM. And in order for that to happen we need to release this ugly world around us and turn our faces and hands towards the joyous KINGDOM of the LORD.
Begin to let go today……..and place all you know, no matter how small your faith, into HIS capable HANDS!

It is when we let go, isn’t it, that we can enter into the peace and freedom God offers us, whether we’re letting go of cruelty and angst in the world, or letting go of offenses against us. It’s forgiveness, and God gave us a wonderful gift in it.
