WOUNDED WARRIORS WIN!

We are in a war right now……..can you feel it?  The air is thick with it.  It is a clear spiritual battle and as Christians we are instructed to put on the armor of GOD.  Oh how very thankful I am that GOD has told us what this battle is…….

EPHESIANS 6: 12  “FOR OUR STRUGGLE IS NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST THE RULERS, AGAINST THE AUTHORITIES, AGAINST THE COSMIC POWERS OF THIS DARKNESS, AGAINST EVIL, SPIRITUAL FORCES IN THE HEAVENS.”

The Christian life is a series of battles…….are you prepared?  Because no one can escape the wounds of this life……no one.  If you haven’t experienced battle scars yet, they are coming. Even our Savior was not exempt…….HE was wounded on the CROSS for our sins, and HE won!  Men could not destroy HIM because HE conquered death…….

LUKE 24: 46 “THEN HE SAID TO THEM, “THUS IT IS WRITTEN, AND THUS IT WAS NECESSARY FOR THE CHRIST TO SUFFER AND TO RISE FROM THE DEAD THE THIRD DAY……”

JESUS was wounded…….and HE conquered!  HE is our only hope…..for HE knows our plight.  HE sees every raw scar we have…….and understands.  HE understands our brokenness, our sin, our battles and HE still says this……

JOHN 6: 37 “ALL THOSE THE FATHER GIVES ME WILL COME TO ME, AND WHOEVER COMES TO ME I WILL NEVER DRIVE AWAY.”

He will never……never…….cast us out!  Even when we are in the midst of the battle, HE stands alongside us with HIS strength.  HE never leaves us or forsakes us! And why?

BECAUSE WOUNDED WARRIORS WIN!

In society right now, there is this vengeful, uncaring group that wants to wound and destroy.  These people are soulless and heartless, unfeeling and their only intent is to cancel, wound and destroy.

HURT PEOPLE…….HURT PEOPLE.

It is terribly sad…….that we have lost the ability to walk in someone’s shoes.  Why is that?  Could it be because the simple act of compassion is demonized by the media?  Could it be because we have taken GOD out of everything possible?  Could it be we have pushed all things GOD,  to the sidelines?

HURT PEOPLE BATTLE and FIGHT WITH EVERYONE.

Our LORD and Savior experienced every kind of wound inflicted by hate-filled men.  The hate in today’s world is inflicted upon the weak…….the battle of good and evil is clearly upon us!  We need to begin each day with HIS armor…….

Each morning may we conquer the evil one in prayer and with GOD’S word.  Our Father helped CHRIST to persevere to the CROSS and HE will help us in our daily battles too…..

EPHESIANS 6: 13 “FOR THIS REASON TAKE UP THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD SO THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO RESIST IN THE EVIL DAY AND HAVING PREPARED EVERYTHING, TO TAKE YOUR STAND.”

We must take a stand now my friends…….against the persecution that is coming for us.  Are you prepared?

WE WILL BE WOUNDED AND SOCIETY IS DOING THE WOUNDING.

ISAIAH 53: 5 “……..PUNISHMENT FOR OUR PEACE WAS ON HIM, AND WE ARE HEALED BY HIS WOUNDS.”

Christ was crushed for our iniquities.  He paid the price for us.  And it is our job to go into battle for HIM.  HE stands right beside us in those battles we face right now and in the future!  So don’t lose heart!

Let’s examine ourselves today……..let’s make sure we are not wounding others with our actions and words.  Let us build one another up. Let us shine HIS light before men and stand strong because we have the armor of GOD!  Stand with TRUTH around your waist, and your feet ready with the GOSPEL.  Hold fast to your shield of FAITH with the helmet of SALVATION.  Keep the sword of the SPIRIT close and PRAY at all times.  In all of this, we may be wounded along the way, but we WILL WIN this battle!  And why?  Because our LORD wins!  And we will too!

REVELATION 7: 17  “FOR THE LAMB WHO IS AT THE CENTER OF THE THRONE WILL SHEPHERD THEM; HE WILL GUIDE THEM TO SPRINGS OF THE WATERS OF LIFE, AND GOD WILL WIPE AWAY EVERY TEAR FROM THEIR EYES.”

  1. Dear Maxine, thank you for building us up, for shining Christ’s light before men, and for standing strong. Yes, we will suffer through wounds (both self-inflicted and from about us), but as we stand in God’s presence, and do not stray away, we stand in His protection and peace. We stand with Him and with each other.
