If you look around you, here in the good old USA, we really do have blessing upon blessing.  

We have a blessing of wealth and freedom in our country.  But I want to talk about our greatest blessing we have and it is a spiritual one, a treasure beyond anything else we could ever own……..it is a peace with GOD because of what JESUS did for us!

ROMANS 5: 2 “BECAUSE OF OUR FAITH, CHRIST HAS BROUGHT US INTO THIS PLACE OF UNDESERVED PRIVILEGE WHERE WE NOW STAND, AND WE CONFIDENTLY AND JOYFULLY LOOK FORWARD TO SHARING GOD’S GLORY.”  NLT

Did you read the two words that explain what type of blessing this is?

undeserved privilege

The Christian Standard version says it this way…….

ROMANS 5: 2 “WE HAVE ALSO OBTAINED ACCESS THROUGH HIM BY FAITH INTO THIS GRACE IN WHICH WE STAND, AND WE REJOICE IN THE HOPE OF THE GLORY OF GOD.”

There are three words that explain this blessing for us……

into this grace.

All of our blessings here should never compete with the greatest blessing we have:

undeserved favor of GOD and HIS grace.

So, if everything was stripped away in your life and JESUS was all you had to hold onto…….would HE be your everything?

Maybe you have been there and you understand the above statement…….maybe you have been broken, at the end of yourself or your hardship was beyond anything you ever imagined and you were graciously:

 touched by HIS undeserved favor

In all our darkness and even our grief, HIS grace shines like light prisms.  HIS grace for us lives in HOLY color!  And we have this most precious blessing upon us because of GOD’S sovereign HAND over our lives.

In spite of what you are going through today……..let this undeserved privilege wash over you each and every morning……..taste and see that it is good!

PROVERBS 11: 25 “WHOEVER BRINGS BLESSING WILL BE ENRICHED, AND ONE WHO WATERS WILL HIMSELF BE WATERED.”

Share this blessing with those around you, and you too will be twice blessed by it!  Share the GOSPEL of blessing and peace today with someone who needs to hear.  Let us be as scripture says: confident and joyful because of the blessing alone!

Remember however, there is only one way to receive this undeserved favor from GOD and that is through our open hands and a humble, submitted heart.  

Because your life will happen in the surrender.  Come humbly before HIM today and if you haven’t already asked………ask for this undeserved favor of grace and forgiveness from our LORD JESUS CHRIST.  And in that surrender, you will receive life and peace like never before………a very undeserved privilege from the GOD who loves you more than you realize!

Surrender today……..open your hands in humility and receive……..HIS……..favor.  It is undeserved, but that is why it is GOD’S most gracious and precious gift for us!

PSALM 30: 3 “HIS FAVOR IS FOR LIFE; WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMES IN THE MORNING.”
