If you faithfully follow and love JESUS as LORD of your life and with all your heart, then HE is working a masterpiece within you…….did you know?

When I think of a masterpiece, I think of a perfect painting or a symphony played to perfection.  Notice I said the word perfect.  Most of us will say we are a work in progress and we know that we will never perfect this Christian life on this side of Heaven. 

If there is anything the truth does for you, it makes you realize you are not perfect…….no there is only ONE who is perfect in every way!

The LORD sees us in our completed state: a masterpiece for Heaven……..a Holy Masterpiece.

If we are becoming a masterpiece, then we must realize there is only one MASTER and it is HIS hand that edits and reworks our souls.

If you doubt who you are then hear this:

GOD doesn’t make junk!!

Just remember that fact the next time satan tries to tell you that you are worthless!  Focus on GOD’S words for you……

ROMANS 4:4 “IT IS BEFORE HIS OWN MASTER THAT HE STANDS OR FALLS.  AND HE WILL BE UPHELD, FOR THE LORD IS ABLE TO MAKE HIM STAND.”

As GOD pours HIS grace into us, HE takes us apart, piece by piece and puts us back together again…….the way HE wants us.  But this process cannot happen unless we submit ourselves to this reworking……..less of ourselves, more of HIM!  And therefore, we make it “our aim to please HIM.” 2 Corinthians 2: 14  It is HIS will, not ours.

Thank GOD, the LORD does the working within us because we are but a breath here……a grain of sand in an ocean of HIS beauty.

When we give ourselves completely to the LORD, HE will rework our relationships, ambitions and life paths as HE sees fit.  We become clay in the potter’s hand…….there is a square-in-the-face reality here that we are better in HIS hand, than anything we could ever do on our own!

Little did we know as we started walking with the LORD, that HE would give us a new heart, mind and spirit and that we would be at war with the flesh only due to HIS working us into the best versions of ourselves!  And what is interesting about all of this?  It was GOD’S plan from the start.

Oh, how HE sees us now…….all of who we will be……. then……..HIS systematic reshaping of the soul within us!

2 CORINTHIANS 2:15 “FOR WE ARE THE AROMA OF CHRIST TO GOD AMONG THOSE WHO ARE BEING SAVED AND AMONG THOSE WHO ARE PERISHING.”

HE works and changes HIS masterpiece in Creation, that is evident with and when new stars are born!  But HE works and changes our souls into new masterpieces too…….

ROMANS 6: 4 “WE WERE BURIED THEREFORE WITH HIM BY BAPTISM INTO DEATH, IN ORDER THAT, JUST AS CHRIST WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD BY THE GLORY OF THE FATHER, WE TOO MIGHT WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE.”

Our old selves that become worn out and useless, become new selves in CHRIST.  The old is gone and the new has come.  In CHRIST, we are a new creation…….a holy masterpiece.  We are not fully completed yet, and so……..

ROMANS 6: 11 “………YOU ALSO MUST CONSIDER YOURSELVES DEAD TO SIN AND ALIVE TO GOD IN CHRIST JESUS.”

We have been brought from death to life…….a life lived with and through CHRIST, our MASTER.  And because HE has HIS hand upon us, we share in the utmost confidence that HE is more capable and worthy to create a final masterpiece within us!

Our Sovereign MASTER looks down upon us and never allows anyone to snatch any masterpieces from HIS capable hands……..and HIS hands are upon us now and for all of eternity.  Take comfort in that……..you are HIS,now and forever……… you are HIS masterpiece!

ISAIAH 65: 17-18 “FOR BEHOLD, I CREATE NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH, AND THE FORMER THINGS SHALL NOT BE REMEMBERED OR COME INTO MIND.  BUT BE GLAD AND REJOICE FOREVER IN THAT WHICH I CREATE, FOR BEHOLD, I CREATE JERUSALEM TO BE A JOY, AND HER PEOPLE TO BE A GLADNESS.”
