HEAVENSREEF

There is a limit for us as humans as to what we can see. When driving a car there is a limit as to how far down the road one can see. And depending upon where you are, the road might look endless. I experienced this as we drove through New Mexico and Utah one summer. Coming out of a pass we dumped down into a valley where the beauty and wildflowers were amazing and it continued as far as the eye could see. There were mountains in the distance and all around us. The horizon before me beckoned my tired body to continue to drive to see what was up ahead beyond those beautiful vistas baking in the afternoon sun. And how does that saying go? On a clear day, you can see forever! Well, not really, but almost. I think it is a comfort to know that our GOD sees ALL…….

ISAIAH 55: 9 “AS THE HEAVENS ARE HIGHER THAN THE EARTH, SO ARE MY WAYS HIGHER THAN YOUR WAYS AND MY THOUGHTS THAN YOUR THOUGHTS.”

Even though our sight may be limited, GOD’S sight is not. And we might not know or see what the next day or hour may bring……but we do know the ONE who brings the day and each hour.

OUR GOOD GOD SEES OUR EVERY HORIZON!

GOD sees what we cannot see……..HE hears the conversations we cannot hear and HE sees right over the horizon to what is coming next so HE can guide us through whatever is coming with HIS grace, mercy, compassion and love. Trust HIM in this. Sometimes I wish I knew what was coming and then again I think if it’s something bad, maybe it’s better if I don’t know. Then there are times when I think, wow, what a difference 24 hours can make!

Today, let’s give GOD thanks that HE alone sees over those horizons for us and continues to write each of our stories, just the way HE wants them. HE is our guide in every single place the soles of our feet step. That is a comfort to remind yourself today……no step is insignificant! GOD sees over your horizons today, so don’t worry about what may come. Trust HIM that HE has you safely in HIS grip and sees any horizon you will face. God will give you the courage and the perseverance to continue forward. Read HIS word daily to understand HIS heart and to gain wisdom for those horizons. And remember to pray. Pray for understanding of HIS path for you, HIS rebuilding and repositioning you to become more like HIM. Know that any horizon you face…….GOD is already there!
