SUNDAY REFLECTIONS – HAPPY EASTER

THE TOMB IS EMPTY

Today we all celebrate Easter……..I pray we will all hold within our hearts what JESUS did for us who believe.  The tomb was and is empty so that GOD alone gets all the glory.  Can you imagine what the disciples thought after Friday and then yesterday?  I can’t imagine their shock and grief!

SO THAT GOD!

Easter reminds us that GOD gets all the glory, so that we cannot claim a thing.  Not us, not our agendas, not our plans, not our service.  None of it.  If we claim credit then shame on us……..because JESUS died on the Cross, so that we could be saved.

MARK 4: 12   “SO THAT THEY MAY INDEED SEE BUT NOT PERCEIVE, AND MAY INDEED HEAR BUT NOT UNDERSTAND, LEST THEY SHOULD TURN AND BE FORGIVEN.”

Let us today, celebrate HIM, so that we don’t celebrate anything here on this earth and when we do, we humble and surrender ourselves before HIM.

PSALM 107:  22  “AND LET THEM OFFER SACRIFICES OF THANKSGIVING, AND TELL OF HIS DEEDS IN SONGS OF JOY.”

So that………we pray and ask HIM to forgive.

So that………we worship and praise HIM daily.

So that………we give JESUS all of our thanks.

So that………we know HIM and become more like HIM.

When JESUS gets all the glory and sits on top of our lives, then we turn and ultimately learn to be more like HIM!  SO THAT…………

Today is beautiful EASTER and HE HAS RISEN!  Jesus died on the Cross and rose on the 3rd day so that we could spend all of eternity with HIM.  JESUS took the nails for us and made it eternal.  This is a grace and a gift from GOD, our FATHER.

Remember HIM today, worship and thank HIM today so that your story and your journey will lead you quietly home!

THANK YOU JESUS FOR THIS SACRIFICE!  THE TOMB IS EMPTY AND TODAY WE SAY:  HE HAS RISEN!

1 CORINTHIANS 15:  55 “O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?”

1 CORINTHIANS 15:  57  “BUT THANKS BE TO GOD, WHO GIVES US THE VICTORY THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

  1. Hallelujah, He is risen, indeed!

To think that He obediently sacrificed for the joy set before Him, I am humbled and amazed.

Blessings upon your Easter and your days, my dear.
