WE are all born thinking we are something don’t we? We establish ourselves in the world and are quite proud of our accomplishments until GOD gets hold of us.
But in all of what we thought was good about us, there is still sin and evil within us. No man is good, no, not one! We are never a “good person” even though the world will tell you that you are.
ROMANS 5: 12 “THEREFORE, JUST AS SIN CAME INTO THE WORLD THROUGH ONE MAN, AND DEATH THROUGH SIN, AND SO DEATH SPREAD TO ALL MEN BECAUSE ALL SINNED…….”
And so as much as we try in our own strength to build ourselves up, GOD, in HIS infinite wisdom tears it all down. Not only does HE prune us, HE has a way to tear down the whole tree! When we choose to have our “own way” GOD humbles us and changes our natural selves over time to be more like HIM. Here is the amazing thing: we are not the people we once were!
GOD does not care what we have done in this world, as much as HE wants our whole hearts devoted to HIM and HIM alone. It’s by HIS grace alone that our hearts turn to HIM, because our natural tendency is to have a self-centered heart. A change of heart is all GOD’S doing within you and me…….
EZEKIAL 36: 26 “AND I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART, AND A NEW SPIRIT I WILL PUT WITHIN YOU.”
Our hearts of stone are turned into hearts of flesh and in the classroom of life, GOD teaches us to have a heart just like HIS!
COME AND SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!
Has HE changed you, remade you, broken you and shown you the sinner that you truly are? Because if HE has, it’s all by HIS grace upon you Christian! And we cannot take one ounce of credit for any of it, no only JESUS the ONE who died for us takes that credit.
REVELATION 21: 5 “AND HE WHO WAS SEATED ON THE THRONE SAID, “BEHOLD I AM MAKING ALL THINGS NEW.”
So, all things are new……me and you…….new hearts and new minds. It’s all done by HIS power and grace upon each of us. Never forget WHO did this for you and will continue to do until each of us is called home.
COME AND SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!
MARK 7: 37 “AND THEY WERE ASTONISHED BEYOND MEASURE, SAYING, “HE HAS DONE ALL THINGS WELL. HE EVEN MAKES THE DEAF HEAR AND THE MUTE SPEAK.”

Sis, this is so powerful and so true.
None of us were ever good on our own. It’s all His Grace. He breaks us, humbles us, and then lovingly rebuilds us with a new heart. What a Mercy that we are not who we used to be.
This is what I really love about Dallas from The Chosen Series. He uses those three words, Come And See. There is so much power in that invitation. It’s up to us to show them and lead them, so they have eyes to see, ears to hear, and an open heart to receive and believe.
He truly makes all things new.

Such miracles God creates! I can see His miracles in my own life, and some of the lives I know. He works miracles EVERY DAY!
