Are you full of wonder this season?  If you are going through something hard right now, I get it!  Life can take all our wonder away.  

TO WONDER IS TO BE ASTONISHED OR AMAZED.

Maybe we don’t see the wonder around us because we go through life noticing all that is wrong with the world.  Yes, it is true, we live in a broken busted up world, but still…….wonderful things do happen!

ISAIAH 29:  14   “……..THEREFORE, BEHOLD, I WILL AGAIN DO WONDERFUL THINGS WITH THIS PEOPLE, WITH WONDER UPON WONDER…….”

Behold, our LORD JESUS CHRIST who has come!  Behold HIM, wonder upon wonder!  The baby JESUS born to us in a stable full of wonder and light.  HE is a gift, a gift of wonder to us.  And HE is a miracle!  A miracle given as a gift to humanity to save us from ourselves.  

May we experience this season, this coming year with childlike wonder…….LORD help us see……..YOU!

And those wonderful things that happen to us?  Well those are pure gift!  The wonderful things that happen to us are amazing eternal gifts.

JOHN 4:  48  “UNLESS YOU PEOPLE SEE SIGNS AND WONDERS, JESUS TOLD HIM, YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE.”

We tend to be the type of people who need a sign…….but honestly, the sign is within us especially if you believe…….HIS light is within us and what a wonder that is!

We need to continually examine our faith and where we are today.  This day, today, look at your faith and “see” where you are!  Because we should never lose our wonder of the CHRISTMAS STORY and it’s meaning.  If your faith is a stale, ritualistic type of faith where you check off the boxes then come back to the stable and the creche.  Peak in and see the baby JESUS with Mary and Joseph and the miracle of the birth there!  LOVE came down that Christmas long ago and it keeps coming for us year after year.  It is the message of the GOSPEL, a message of grace, truth and love…….

JOHN 3:  16  “FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.”

I pray this season you see the amazing wonder in JESUS!  Seek HIM with all your heart because HE came down from Heaven for you and for me.  You see!  Wonderful things do happen!  We are chosen and forgiven!  And what an absolute wonder that is!  That love, GOD with us, is here to stay.  It is a faithful and everlasting love that never, ever leaves us and it has existed since time began.  It is a love full of light, mercy and grace.  And it is a love that honestly is too wonderful for words!  Blessings dear readers……may you wonder during this beautiful Christmas season!!
