GOD DOES NOT WASTE A THING.  I LOVE TO KNOW THIS AND TELL MYSELF THIS OFTEN. YOUR STORY AND MY STORY IS CONTINUING EVERY DAY GOD WAKES US.  With GOD watching us and guiding us nothing we do or say is a waste because HE has HIS hands upon us.

GOD PURSUES US FIRST

When HE wakes up our souls either with a subtle touch or a crisis that cannot be ignored, then our attention to HIM becomes our very own pursuit of HIS love and grace that we figure out we cannot find anywhere on this planet.  This grace of GOD is irresistible to us.

GOD PURSUES, GOD CALLS AND THUS OUR STORY WITH HIM BEGINS

ISAIAH 51: 3  “FOR THE LORD COMFORTS ZION; HE COMFORTS ALL HER WASTE PLACES AND MAKES HER WILDERNESS LIKE EDEN, HER DESERT LIKE THE GARDEN OF THE LORD; JOY AND GLADNESS WILL BE FOUND IN HER, THANKSGIVING AND THE VOICE OF SONG.”

GOD turns waste places into Edens and deserts into Gardens.  HIS transformation of all of our stories is worth all our lives of heartache and joy.  GOD does not waste a thing:  no country, no wilderness, no planet, no star and not us either.

HIS hand that planted the stars above, planted you, right where you are so your story could continue.  

PSALM 73:  24  “YOU GUIDE ME WITH YOUR COUNSEL, LEADING ME TO A GLORIOUS DESTINY.”

HIS hand that guides us, also provides for us all that we need to live out our stories.  The CROSS is our guide and our true north.  It is our everything.  It’s our redemption.  GOD did not leave us unto ourselves, but provided a way.  JESUS is the way, the truth and the life.  And when we choose HIM, we choose our way with HIM, a beautiful way, a beautiful story………a masterpiece!

Think on this today:  what would your life be like without GOD?  

JEREMIAH 1: 5   “BEFORE I FORMED YOU IN THE WOMB I KNEW YOU; BEFORE YOU WERE BORN I SANCTIFIED YOU……..”

HE set us apart so HE could write our stories out.  How blessed we are as HE writes our stories of redemption through us to live as examples of HIM.

So remember today, no tear, no thought, no action, no disease, no crisis or trouble is a waste with GOD’S hand upon it.  Because of HIS constant hope  and mercy and love, we never lose hope, hope for all of our stories written so carefully and so wisely by our glorious KING, the KING of the universe, KING JESUS!

1 TIMOTHY 6:  15  “GOD WILL BRING THIS ABOUT IN HIS OWN TIME.  HE IS THE BLESSED AND ONLY SOVEREIGN, THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS.”
