Sometimes life feels like a battle and we need armor to get us through.  The only armor that we need, that will help us, is HIS absolute truth.

God is our truth, may we stand firm in this truth…….

ISAIAH 7: 9  “IF YOU DO NOT STAND FIRM IN YOUR FAITH, THEN YOU WILL NOT STAND AT ALL.”  CSB

If our faith is not enduring, how can we endure?   God is truth, but being finite as we are, we can only grasp this truth only so far.  We try to understand an infinite GOD, to grasp HIM, but really we can’t fully.  Because HE is this:

ISAIAH 9:  6   “FOR A CHILD WILL BE BORN FOR US, A SON WILL BE GIVEN TO US, AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE ON HIS SHOULDERS.  HE WILL BE NAMED WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, ETERNAL FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE.”

HE is our eternal Father, the Prince of all truth and HIS truth alone sets us free.  Do we live free in this wonderful truth or do we doubt?  Do we trust it fully?  To find any truth at all and to stand upon it, we search for GOD, we inquire in HIS temple and we find in our search, peace and love and grace and mercy.  Oh what an amazing truth it is and oh what it does for us!

GOD alone is truth and it will let your spirit soar and you will be free because of this:

ISAIAH 9:  7 b  “HE WILL REIGN ON THE THRONE OF DAVID AND OVER HIS KINGDOM TO ESTABLISH AND SUSTAIN IT WITH JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM NOW ON AND FOREVER.”

Forever HE reigns, so forever HE is truth!  Nothing of this world will ever change this or who our GOD is.  HIS kingdom is established and secure, forever and ever!

ISAIAH 9:  7c “THE ZEAL OF THE LORD OF ARMIES WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS.”

HE is the Lord of Armies, an abiding truth that forever stands, an armor that is indestructable.  And this truth is ours to put on daily, like armor to go into the battles we face.  HIS armor of truth is all we have, it is our protection and our guide.  Go to this truth every single day.  GOD has given it to us for this very reason.  HE knows the battles we will face.  So stand on HIS truth and wear it like armor.  Without this truth, the world will conquer us, but standing in this truth gives us power…….the power of the GOD of this universe, the Alpha and the Omega.

ISAIAH 46:  9   “…….FOR I AM GOD AND THERE IS NO OTHER; I AM GOD AND NO ONE IS LIKE ME.”
