NOTICE…….WONDER……..WORSHIP

Let’s try today to look at our world with fresh eyes.  Lately I have been caught up in seeing all the darkness and evil.  Oh it’s been so heavy.  But I feel today, GOD pulling me back in HIS direction, to notice, to wonder and to worship HIM.

Because HE is there, spiritually and actively.  HE has never left us!  Don’t despair today because the darker it gets, GOD’S light shines all the more brighter!

We can thank GOD today for all of HIS attentiveness for HIS creation, especially when we take it for granted.

PSALM 19:  1   “THE HEAVENS DECLARE THE GLORY OF GOD AND THE SKY ABOVE PROCLAIMS HIS HANDIWORK.”

See HIM today in the beauty of a rainbow, an aspen tree and even when the sky turns all pink and blue and soft.  Find the details of HIS hand…….it is there for you to notice and to be thankful.

We are surrounded every day by HIS creation that truly is a masterpiece if you think about it.  Who formed the mountains and who told the sea to end?

ISAIAH 51:  10  “ARE YOU NOT THE ONE WHO DRIED UP THE SEA, THE WATERS OF THE GREAT DEEP; THAT MADE THE DEPTHS OF THE SEA A ROAD FOR THE REDEEMED TO CROSS OVER?”

SO CHRISTIAN………BEHOLD YOUR GOD!

The GOD of all the universe created you just as you are, for such a time as this.  HIS plans for you are steadfast and true and HE is your loving Father holding you tightly in HIS hands.  If you woke up this morning, HE wants you to notice HIM, to stand in wonder of HIM and to be grateful.

1 JOHN 1:  2   “THE LIFE WAS MADE MANIFEST, AND WE HAVE SEEN IT, AND TESTIFY TO IT AND PROCLAIM TO YOU THE ETERNAL LIFE, WHICH WAS THE FATHER AND WAS MADE MANIFEST TO US.”

BEHOLD YOUR GOD TODAY!  Behold HIS light and truth.  See it for the absolute wonder of grace that it is.  See and remember all of HIS promises for you……..then fall down and intently worship.

Today might seem like any other day so remember, you are HIS dearly loved child, chosen and forgiven.  Remember HIS redeeming grace for you………notice………wonder……….behold and then worship!

1 CORINTHIANS 15:  10   “BUT BY THE GRACE OF GOD I AM WHAT I AM, AND HIS GRACE TO ME WAS NOT WAS NOT WITHOUT EFFECT.”

  1. Yep. Our Sunday morning routine has long been to watch CBS Sunday Morning while we have our coffee / bone broth.

    Sunday Morning used to be refreshing and uplifting. For the past years, it is not. They lift up evil things and call them good, they promote worldly values. I can’t watch it any more.

    Then comes church. I was brought to tears as we sang Blessed Assurance this morning. Pastor’s message was edifying and uplifting. Even now, I’m reading through my ‘blogmail, ‘ as I call it, and God is blessing me through His writers, such as you.

    Yes, there is evil in the world. But I am full of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world, and Jesus is mine.
