It’s a battle that we all are currently in………have you noticed? These past couple of weeks the enemy has had his evil on display for all to see. Our hearts have been broken and we are rocked and we are angry too. Our feelings are wearing thin and so today, if you are reading this here I encourage you to step out of your battle for a bit and remind yourself of this:
DEUTERONOMY 33: 27 “THE ETERNAL GOD IS YOUR REFUGE, AND UNDERNEATH ARE THE EVERLASTING ARMS.”
GOD is near to you today……..HE is well aware of these battles we are facing and HE wants us to lean in and draw near to HIM. In our human flesh we tend to reach for other comforts that really are not lasting, not the way GOD’S love is.
Nothing seems to weigh on me like seeing the current darkness around us. As Christians we know this is supposed to happen. At the same time though, we do not lose hope! There is incredible light that shines all the more brighter and you cannot deny that it is there.
And so today we cannot and we will not let the darkness and evil reign. We will shine all the more and the more the GOSPEL is shared, the more lights there are in the world! It’s because we have been redeemed Christian!
JOHN 12: 36 “WHILE YOU HAVE THE LIGHT, BELIEVE IN THE LIGHT, THAT YOU MAY BECOME SONS OF LIGHT.”
GOD’S light cannot and will not be distinguished by all this evil. So don’t despair, don’t give up and don’t give in! Instead, shine brighter for CHRIST! Instead spend time in HIS word and HIS loving arms for you. HE can and HE will carry you through any battle you face. You just have to trust HIM. HE is the strong one and HE is the ROCK I always say on which we stand!
2 SAMUEL 22: 47 “THE LORD LIVES! BLESSED BE MY ROCK! LET GOD BE EXALTED, THE ROCK OF MY SALVATION.”
Before you step back into your battle, stand strong on the ROCK of your salvation…….and shine bright for CHRIST! Be encouraged today that you are not alone, HE is with you, so reach for HIM because HE is gracious and kind and loving. HE is the eternal GOD who is immovable and unstoppable! Put on the armor of GOD today. HE will give you all you need for that battle, because HE already won one for us on the CROSS.
PSALM 112: 4 “LIGHT DAWNS IN THE DARKNESS FOR THE UPRIGHT; HE IS GRACIOUS, MERCIFUL, AND RIGHTEOUS.”

Amen 🙏 We know it all to well, the battle is real, but so is our God’s power and light. We keep standing on the Rock, no matter how hard and difficult it gets, trusting on His strength, and shining brighter for Christ.

We’ve been away for a couple of weeks, to a family reunion. It was great, because I love my family; but it was also a challenge because my husband and I stand alone in Christ. After some time to be home and process, I can see where God was with us, strengthened us, and gave testimony through us. I am grateful. I can pinpoint times when I failed Him; but I know He is God Who redeems.
“Before you step back into your battle, stand strong on the ROCK of your salvation…” That’s an intriguing and excellent point to include: we are not to step out of the battle and walk away. God gives us respite via Himself, family, friends, circumstances, etc. And then we are to step back in. We have a mission, and God wants to bring Himself glory (and blessing to us) by carrying out our responsibilities.
