There is a wonderful, thoughtful and beautiful scripture in Habakkuk that we could embrace and remind ourselves, especially when times are lean and hard and it goes like this:
HABAKKUK 3: 17-19 “THOUGH THE FIG TREE SHOULD NOT BLOSSOM, NOR FRUIT BE ON THE VINES, THE PRODUCE OF THE OLIVE FAIL AND THE FIELDS YIELD NO FOOD, AND THERE BE NO HERD IN THE STALLS, YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL TAKE JOY IN THE LORD OF MY SALVATION. GOD, THE LORD, IS MY STRENGTH; HE MAKES MY FEET LIKE THE DEER’S, HE MAKES ME TREAD ON MY HIGH PLACES.”
GOD can and does give us strength and surefooted confidence through difficult times. WE can live confident in HIS strength and wisdom, no matter what comes our way!
So even though you might be going through a difficult time with things being uncertain……..
REJOICE IN THE LORD.
Even though money is tight, living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to make ends meet……..
REJOICE IN THE LORD.
Even though tests are looming or the diagnosis is extremely hard or surgery is coming…….
REJOICE IN THE LORD.
Even though there is a relationship on the rocks or a friend has betrayed you…….
REJOICE IN THE LORD.
Even though your marriage is struggling right now and you cannot agree on anything…….
REJOICE IN THE LORD.
Even though times are the worst they have ever been in your life…….
REJOICE IN THE LORD!
Turn to the FATHER who loves you and rejoice in the GOD of your salvation. Because when we have this salvation, it is a rich treasure like no other treasure here on this earth. It is a pure joy that brings such truth and peace to our lives, no matter the circumstances.
We might have to live without, or we might have plenty. But I would rather live without the stuff of this world, then to live without my GOD! How about you?
The world right now is in turmoil, but GOD’S sustaining spirit is doing just that……..sustaining me and showing me what it truly important……..the truth! HIS truth in love will set us free my friends! And one day we will go to live in Paradise with our amazing GOD! So even though today you might have woke on the wrong side of the bed so to speak…….rejoice in the LORD!
PSALM 5: 11 “BUT LET ALL WHO TAKE REFUGE IN YOU BE GLAD; LET THEM EVER SING FOR JOY.”
MATTHEW 5: 12 “REJOICE AND BE GLAD, FOR YOUR REWARD IS GREAT IN HEAVEN…….”
Yes, YES, and amen!
“I would rather live without the stuff of this world, then to live without my GOD! How about you?” 🙋♀️🙌 Makes me think of Ps 84.10: For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness

🙌 Even in the hardest times, we can choose to rejoice. God is our strength, our peace, and our hope.
No matter what we face, He remains faithful.
Rejoice in Him always.
You Are Loved.
