Let’s all think about this today on this beautiful Sunday………where is our gaze?  It’s up to us to not lose sight of our goal and the prize, JESUS CHRIST.  When JESUS walked the earth HE never took HIS eyes off of the FATHER and neither should we. 

1 JOHN 2:  16   “FOR ALL THAT IS IN THE WORLD – THE DESIRES OF THE FLESH AND THE DESIRES OF THE EYES AND PRIDE OF LIFE – IS NOT FROM THE FATHER BUT IS FROM THE WORLD.”

And how often does our gaze……..fail?  The world draws us in with it’s beautiful “things” that we just cannot take our eyes off of.  The enemy knows this and tells us the lie that we just cannot live without all of this stuff……..but in reality we sure can live a better more clutter free life if we keep our gaze on the ONE who sees our life and has a plan for us.

Your story isn’t over………did you know?  Embrace this fact.  GOD can make something out of ashes and HE is really good at it.  Fix your eyes of faith today on what is unseen rather than seen.  Stay vertical with your gaze.  Glorify your FATHER in Heaven for who HE is!

PROVERBS 4:  25-26   “LET YOUR EYES LOOK DIRECTLY FORWARD, AND YOUR GAZE BE STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU.  PONDER THE PATH OF YOUR FEET, THEN ALL YOUR WAYS WILL BE SURE.”

Today let’s start making our gaze a filter of what is worthy of our love, service, worship and time.  Look at everything through the LORD’S eyes.  HE is our best example to follow.  And the best news in all of this is that when you fix your gaze upon the beautiful LORD, you just end of realizing that HE is gazing right back at you!

PSALM 102: 19   “FOR HE LOOKED DOWN FROM THE HEIGHTS OF HIS SANCTUARY; THE LORD GAZED OUT FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH……”
