I don’t know about yours, but my heart is aching lately over some circumstances I am dealing with. Emotional pain is a hard thing to deal with. When a heart is broken or shattered it takes time and it takes healing to help. Where we receive the right kind of healing, then we mature and we grow into Kingdom people.
TELL YOUR HEART IT IS OK FOR IT TO BEAT AGAIN
Only GOD’S healing hand can help your heart. HE wants to reshape your heart and transform it and to trust that our great GOD has the right kind of healing for you.
PROVERBS 17:22 “A JOYFUL HEART IS GOOD MEDICINE, BUT A CRUSHED SPIRIT DRIES UP THE BONES.”
GOD doesn’t want us walking around with crushed hearts. It’s not good for us. In our broken state there is only one way to turn, one way to focus. So if your heart is hurting, surrender it to GOD and then let HIM in HIS own way, heal you.
- Is there unforgiveness in your heart? Surrender it.
- Is there bitterness in your heart? Surrender it.
- Is there pain and anger stuck in your heart? Surrender now.
- Is there resentment held fast in your heart? Surrender that too.
You see, when our hearts hold onto any of the above, then our hearts are sick. When we surrender our hurt and pain then GOD can heal us as HE sees fit so that we can become whole and healthy again. An unhealthy heart damages your health, effects the relationships around you and most of all, steals your peace. Only with GOD can our hurting hearts become whole and HOLY.
DEUTERONOMY 30: 6 “THE LORD YOUR GOD WILL CIRCUMCISE YOUR HEARTS AND THE HEARTS OF YOUR DESCENDANTS, SO THAT YOU MAY LOVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL AND LIVE.”
So we may live………live with whole and healthy hearts that love GOD first and foremost. Our hearts can be remade when GOD sees it necessary. HE sends pain our way, then helps us deal with it. Trying on our own never works………..surrender does. And GOD knows when healing is necessary. Trust HIM with HIS wisdom in this because HE wants to bring you to your final home healthy and whole and holy.
EZEKIAL 11: 19 “I WILL GIVE THEM AN UNDIVIDED HEART AND PUT A NEW SPIRIT IN THEM.”

Oh Kathy you made me cry! We need to share emails someday and we can chat further on the subject. But my heart is broken, but with GOD I still can live each day in HIS grace and I do find peace and joy too!
