We all have a way of lying to ourselves every single day.  Our own self-talk is full of lies and satan knows it and uses it against us.  The enemy loves to mess with our heads and so does this fallen world.

IF YOU DON’T LET GOD DEFINE YOU………THE WORLD WILL.

If you believe that JESUS CHRIST died for your sins on the Cross, rose on the third day all to forgive us, then you and I are HIS children, not satan’s.  And because we exist in this fallen world, we must put on the armor of truth………

EPHESIANS 6: 11   “PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD SO THAT YOU CAN STAND AGAINST THE SCHEMES OF THE DEVIL.”

So we are to stand with truth around our waists like a belt……..try to envision the Bible belted around your waist.  I think if it was there, upon me, I wouldn’t forget it.  We tend to embrace what we believe and so we have to find a way to empty ourselves every single day of the lies that are told to us by our evil and corrupt world and then pour into ourselves HIS Holy truth.

EVERY SINGLE THING COMES FROM GOD, ESPECIALLY THE TRUTH.

HEBREWS 6: 18   “SO GOD HAS GIVEN BOTH HIS PROMISE AND HIS OATH. THESE TWO THINGS ARE UNCHANGEABLE BECAUSE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE.   THEREFORE, WE WHO HAVE FLED TO HIM FOR REFUGE CAN HAVE GREAT CONFIDENCE AS WE HOLD TO THE HOPE THAT LIES BEFORE US.”

It’s impossible for GOD to lie…….isn’t that a wonderful comfort and blessing today?  I would rather believe what HE says than the world.  And why wouldn’t we seek HIS truth above anything else we know and hear on this planet?!

WITH JESUS WE WON’T STAND ALONE IN THE TRUTH.

No we won’t stand alone…….we will stand tall!  Our feet will be sandaled with the gospel of peace and the sword of the Spirit and the helmet of salvation will cover us.  We need now to revive our glimpse of our SAVIOR and realize what we have in HIS truth and how it sustains us and guides us.  

PSALM 25: 5   “GUIDE ME IN YOUR TRUTH AND TEACH ME, FOR YOU ARE GOD MY SAVIOR AND MY HOPE IS IN YOU ALL DAY LONG.”

JOHN 16: 13   “WHEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL THE TRUTH, FOR HE WILL NOT SPEAK ON HIS OWN AUTHORITY BUT WHATEVER HE HEARS HE WILL SPEAK, AND HE WILL DECLARE TO YOU THE THINGS THAT ARE TO COME.”

Let the Spirit of truth guide you today.  Stop listening to the lies of the enemy telling you that you have failed or that you cannot accomplish what GOD wants from you.  Replace the lies, with GOD’S amazing truth…….and then let it set you free!

GOD’S way and GOD’S truth is always right and true and pure and holy.  GOD will never steer you wrong!!  But the world will……..it’s a given. HIS way is the only way……..HIS truth is always good because HE is a good GOD.  Praise HIM today, for the only truth there is……..the HOLY and written WORD!

ISAIAH 40: 8   “THE GRASS WITHERS, THE FLOWER FADES, BUT THE WORD OF OUR GOD WILL STAND FOREVER.”
