HEAVENSREEF

This is a special time for reflection, repentance, giving and growth.  It’s a time of deeper intimacy with the LORD and what HE has done for us.  HIS grace shines ever so bright!

PHILIPPIANS 1: 6   “AND I AM SURE OF THIS, THAT HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL BRING IT TO COMPLETION AT THE DAY OF JESUS CHRIST.”

I’m so very thankful that GOD works within me, even when I am unaware.  HIS goal for me is so much better than any goals I have or could dream of.  During this season we are more aware that the CROSS is the Good News and because we are living near the Cross, we become more over time like the ONE who died upon it.

CHRIST works steadily in us and for us.  HIS grace pours into us and fills those hard places that need to soften.  

JOHN 1: 16   “FOR FROM HIS FULLNESS WE HAVE ALL RECEIVED GRACE UPON GRACE.”

HIS grace can and will change us.  Each day HE grows us, gradually into HIS kingdom people.  So during LENT, with prayers raised, let’s use HIS amazing grace in ways beyond us.  We need to give it away with our words and actions.  

HE GIVES GRACE UPON GRACE AND WE SHOULD TOO.

What have you given up this season?  Or what can you give this season?  And what can then become a good and permanent change within you?  What is CHRIST saying to you during this special time?

HE who began a good work in us……….continues.  Isn’t that a comfort? We can trust that…….that HE never leaves us, never leaves us unto ourselves because HE is the one who loved us that much, that HE died in our place.  Remember the Cross during this Lent Season and then let HIM form you more like the Cross than the rest of the world.

Draw close to HIM today on this Sunday!
