We need to hand it over……..all the pain, doubts and feeling that we are not enough.  And why?

BECAUSE JESUS IS ENOUGH

HE is enough because HE is patient and gracious enough for anyone to stand in HIS presence with the full realization that they are not enough.  We really are not enough in everything and we all fall short.

ROMANS 3: 23   “……..FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD.”

We are not enough and never will be enough.  Oh we keep trying and we keep striving to no avail!  But there is more to this falling short………to this “all have sinned.”  The truth of the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST sets us free.

ROMANS 3: 24   “……..AND WE ARE JUSTIFIED FREELY BY HIS GRACE THROUGH THE REDEMPTION THAT CAME BY CHRIST JESUS.”

The NLT says it this way:  

ROMANS 3: 24   “YET GOD, IN HIS GRACE, FREELY MAKES US RIGHT IN HIS SIGHT.  HE DID THIS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS WHEN HE FREED US FROM THE PENALTY FOR OUR SINS.”

CHRIST freely makes us right, right when we feel we are never enough.  We are right in HIS eyes because with HIM there is always more than enough.  HE takes our not enough and turns it into something better.

If we go our own way, we find we are never enough, we never have enough and we never do enough.  But with JESUS there is always more than enough and there is lasting peace and contentment with HIM too.

2 THESSALONIANS 3: 16   “NOW MAY THE LORD OF PEACE HIMSELF GIVE YOU PEACE ALWAYS IN EVERY WAY.”

GOD invites us to hand over our not enough so that HE can multiply all of it into more than we need.

GOD’S multiplication is astounding and better than any of ours.  It’s because we are finite beings, flawed in so many ways and HE is not.  It’s because one way or another, we come to the end of who we are and our great GOD being who HE is, has no end………ever.

EPHESIANS 3: 20   “NOW TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO FAR MORE ABUNDANTLY THAN ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK, ACCORDING TO THE POWER AT WORK WITHIN US.”

HIS power works within us, especially when we are weak………then we are strong.  And when we are not enough HE is immeasurably sufficient for us!  Thank GOD today for this provision because HE is ENOUGH now and will forever be!

MATTHEW 10: 25   “IT IS ENOUGH FOR THE DISCIPLE TO BE LIKE HIS TEACHER, AND THE SERVANT LIKE HIS MASTER.”
