There is no one else on the planet like you………or me.  GOD made us unique and that is shown in our DNA.  But how often do we look to others wishing we were like them and having their kind of life?  GOD had a purpose when HE made each of us and we are given gifts that HE intended for us.

1 TIMOTHY 4:14   “DO NOT NEGLECT THE GIFT THAT IS IN YOU.”

Are we neglecting those gifts?  They are the gifts that make us who we are………unique in CHRIST.  HE has given us a special endowment for who we are and what makes us tick.  When we embrace how GOD made us, then we are free to walk in HIS footsteps that were made only for us.  We all are alike because we love our GOD, however, we all are completely different from one another as GOD intended for HIS body of believers to be.   Being HIS unique children should cause our hearts to cry this:

PSALM 139:  14   “I WILL PRAISE YOU, FOR I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE; MARVELOUS ARE YOUR WORKS, AND THAT MY SOUL KNOWS VERY WELL.”

I really believe that our good and gracious GOD does not make junk!  HE made mankind and called it “good”.  We are the ones who sin and we are the ones who need a SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST to make us clean again.

GENESIS 1: 31   “GOD SAW ALL THAT HE HAD MADE, AND IT WAS VERY GOOD INDEED.”

GOD’S perfect plan did include you and me…….

GENESIS 1: 27   “SO GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE; HE CREATED HIM IN THE IMAGE OF GOD; HE CREATED THEM MALE AND FEMALE.”

Our very own uniqueness was born at the beginning of time from GOD’S good plan until sin entered into the picture.  So what does one do?  We realize that our goodness comes only from GOD, we cannot change our sinfulness……..be HE can.

ROMANS 7:  20  “NOW IF I DO WHAT I DO NOT WANT, I AM NO LONGER THE ONE THAT DOES IT, BUT IT IS THE SIN THAT LIVES IN ME.”

But………PRAISE GOD!  LET US EMBRACE THIS:

ROMANS 8: 1  “THEREFORE, THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE IN CHRIST JESUS.”

Jesus came to set us free, free to be who HE wants us to be, free to be and live life because of righteousness.  JESUS sets us free from our old selves, because we are made new in HIM and that is the GOOD NEWS!  Let this good news set you free today friends……..because you live, eat and breathe for the LORD, then it’s ok to be you, the you that is in CHRIST! 

GALATIANS 5: 1   “IT IS FOR FREEDOM THAT CHRIST HAS SET US FREE.  STAND FIRM, THEN, AND DO NOT LET YOURSELVES BE BURDENED AGAIN BY A YOKE OF SLAVERY.”
