We might not feel worthy at the moment, but HE calls us worthy.  And worthy is the LORD!  Worthy is HE who forgives our sins and our transgressions.

OUR GOD SAYS WE ARE WORTHY

1 SAMUEL 16:7   “THE LORD DOES NOT LOOK AT THE THINGS PEOPLE LOOK AT.  PEOPLE LOOK AT THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE, BUT THE LORD LOOKS AT THE HEART.”

Let’s think on this for a moment.  We are worthy enough for the GOD of the universe to come down and HE walked the earth amongst us.  Then JESUS gave HIS very life for our salvation!  Paul was aware of this and reminds us to walk in this manner:

EPHESIANS 4: 1   “I THEREFORE, A PRISONER FOR THE LORD URGE YOU TO WALK IN A MANNER WORTHY OF THE CALLING TO WHICH YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED.”

We are called, but do we walk in a worthy manner?  If we follow JESUS and JESUS alone, we will.  Worthy is the LORD and therefore worthy are we.  And what HE deems as worthy we need to see and then call it for what it is………beautiful!

2 THESSALONIANS 1: 11-12   “TO THIS END WE ALWAYS PRAY FOR YOU, THAT OUR GOD MAY MAKE YOU WORTHY OF HIS CALLING AND MAY FULFILL EVERY RESOLVE FOR GOOD AND EVERY WORK OF FAITH BY HIS POWER, SO THAT THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS MAY BE GLORIFIED IN YOU, AND YOU IN HIM, ACCORDING TO THE GRACE OF OUR GOD AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

Don’t forget the grace you have been given…….because HE calls you worthy.  Only a GOD who deems you worthy would supply you with endless grace!

JOHN 1: 16   “FOR FROM HIS FULLNESS WE HAVE ALL RECEIVED GRACE UPON GRACE.”

And let’s not forget too, that others around us are deemed worthy of HIS profound grace just as much as we are.  We tend to forget this the most.  We look and judge when we should not.  Let GOD do the judging, because HE knows who we are and who is worthy each day of HIS faithful grace.

When we walk in a manner that is worthy of our calling we will ultimately follow HIM.  We will follow CHRIST’S word and HIS way.   We were created by HIM and are worthy by the touch of HIS hand.  And then in turn, HE is worthy of all our praise and worship today and tomorrow. So, look to the ONE who the Father said was and is worthy…….. and then know this truth:  you are worthy too!

REVELATION 4: 11   “WORTHY ARE YOU, OUR LORD AND GOD, TO RECEIVE GLORY AND HONOR AND POWER, FOR YOU CREATED ALL THINGS, AND BY YOUR WILL THEY EXISTED AND WERE CREATED.”
