Made in HIS image……..we are loved.  Did you know?  Sometimes we push GOD away for whatever reason, but HE is never more than an arm’s length away from us.  Our world is evidence that HIS love is all around us…….waiting.

WE NEED TO SURRENDER OURSELVES INTO HIS GRACE FOR US

Surrender is humility, realizing we are not the god of our own universe.  We see in our world, people trying to be gods of their own making.  Just observe social media.  Surrender is the opposite of what the world thinks, but surrendering into HIS arms is the only sure way to receive HIS grace for you.

YOU ARE LOVED BY GOD

Accept this fact that no matter what you have done in the past, JESUS has come to put things right.  Surrender today to HIM and let HIM become the LORD of your life.  I think it interesting that we surrender so easily to sin, but not to HIS embrace.  

ROMANS 6: 19   “I AM USING AN EXAMPLE FROM EVERYDAY LIFE BECAUSE OF YOUR HUMAN LIMITATIONS.  JUST AS YOU USED TO OFFER YOURSELVES AS SLAVES TO IMPURITY AND TO EVER-INCREASING WICKEDNESS, SO NOW OFFER YOURSELVES AS SLAVES TO RIGHTEOUSNESS LEADING TO HOLINESS.”

Offer yourself and surrender……….to GOD!  HIS grace for you is as soft and gentle as the pink sky at dusk.  There is a time everyday where the light changes to meet the dark.  It is a subtle and soft submission because the light knows what is coming…….it does not resist!

In this New Year, let’s not fight GOD coming for us!  Let HIM love you.  I feel for those who resist HIM.  I can see it in those who do not believe yet.  They resist and fight and do anything to keep their own way.  But GOD has always had a better way for HIS creation since the beginning of time.

HEBREWS 1: 10   “AND, YOU LORD, LAID THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH IN THE BEGINNING, AND THE HEAVENS ARE THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS……..”

JOHN 1: 1   “IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD.”

In the beginning, before us, there was always a plan.  The plan was JESUS coming to earth to make things right because HE is the narrow road and the only path to heaven.  HIS way is the best way and HIS love is the best love there is.

SURRENDER AND LET HIS LOVE WASH OVER YOU TODAY.

HIS LOVE is always good, always perfect, always sustaining, always full of grace.  So let HIM love you and open your heart and hands to HIS all consuming grace and mercy.  No matter where you are, no matter what you have done, stop resisting HIM and surrender today.  JESUS will be coming back soon for HIS Church.  Don’t be left out in the cold.  Because you don’t want to hear from HIM:  “I never knew you.”

It’s a hard thing, this pride all of us have.  It’s a hard thing to admit we are wrong so we continue to resist something that is the most wonderful thing on this planet…….GOD’S LOVE.

PROVERBS 16:  18   “PRIDE GOES BEFORE DESTRUCTION, AND A HAUGHTY SPIRIT BEFORE A FALL.”

And let’s hold onto this one…….

PROVERBS 29: 23   “A MAN’S PRIDE WILL BRING HIM LOW, BUT A HUMBLE SPIRIT WILL OBTAIN HONOR.”

Oh how GOD loves us, even in our pride.  May today when we come to the end of ourselves, just realize that we need HIM.  Let’s let HIM simply love us, because GOD is love and that is HIS character.  Embrace HIS love today and find freedom, forgiveness and peace.  Yes, it’s beyond our understanding, but GOD is in full control of all we know.  Today continue to remind yourself this:

YOU ARE LOVED!
