Christmas is still with us even after the calendar reads December 25th……..and even after and into the New Year.
WISE MEN SEEK HIM ALL YEAR LONG
It’s because of GOD’S grace that Christmas remains. We put away the decorations and Christmas tree, but GOD’S love for us never leaves us. JESUS doesn’t give up on us or ever leaves us, no HE is here to stay because:
CHRISTMAS REMAINS IN OUR HEARTS ALL YEAR LONG
Martin Luther said this: “Let us not flutter too high, but remain by the Manger and the swaddling clothes of CHRIST, in whom dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” So GOD came to us in bodily form and still comes to us today in Spirit.
1 CORINTHIANS 2: 12 “WHAT WE HAVE RECEIVED IS NOT THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD, BUT THE SPIRIT WHO IS FROM GOD, SO THAT WE MAY UNDERSTAND WHAT GOD HAS FREELY GIVEN US.”
HIS ever present Spirit guides, counsels and teaches us – HIS Spirit of grace is faithful always…….because CHRISTMAS REMAINS!
THIS CHRISTMAS REMAINS BECAUSE IT’S ALL PART OF GOD’S DIVINE PLAN
In this New Year, because CHRISTMAS remains with us, let’s grow into the people GOD wants us to be, a worthy people who have a settled assurance that GOD is forever in control, forever leading, forever watching. Strive for the quiet confidence and trust in GOD and know that ultimately, all will be well. Make a determined choice to praise HIM every day……..just praise HIM in the moments HE gives you. Praise HIM because GOD is very good at just being GOD!
CHRISTMAS REMAINS BECAUSE JESUS WAS BORN
And then there is always this truthful scripture for all time…….
JOHN 3: 16 “FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM, SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.”
GOD’S SON JESUS came for you and for me and HE never leaves, so CHRISTMAS remains always. We can put Christmas away, but CHRIST never goes away. HE is here and HE remains in our hearts, souls and our minds.
OUR GOD HAS CHRISTMAS IN MIND FOR US EVERY DAY OF OUR LIVES

What an amazing array of people God chose to propel His Word and His events and promises to His people! Here is Zechariah, John’s father in his old age(your verse of Luke 1.68): God gave him the vision to understand that right there, John was going to herald the actual, finally, right-here-and-now redemption that Israel had been waiting for!
Oh, may our eyes and ears ever be open to what God wants us to understand! Thank you for being obedient as one of those God whom chose to magnify Him and His Word to us all.

Yes, Christmas remains in our hearts every day because of God’s love and grace. Jesus, born to save us, is always with us, guiding and comforting us. His spirit stays with us throughout the year, reminding us of His presence and promise of eternal life. We can always praise Him, knowing He is in control and will never leave us.
