WHERE TO PLACE THE PROBLEM

Problems never seem to end!

Problem solving………we all seem to do this daily.  When one problem ends, another begins.   But what you do with the problem will either overwhelm you or you will find a peace with it, even if there isn’t a solution right away.  We all wish problems would go away, never having to deal with another, but honestly if they did go away we would never have a need for a Savior.

TODAY LET THE PROBLEM FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE ONE WHO CAN SOLVE IT!

Today drop what you are doing and drop to your knees and pray about it.  I’ve noticed that when I do, I’m better off.  It’s like telling someone something to get off of your chest.  When you do, you are relieved.  And when I do, I am relieved that I told GOD and asked HIM for HIS supernatural help.  Our Father in Heaven cares deeply for all of us who believe.  And there is always help and hope from HIM!  It’s HIS grace for us and it is abundant.

Have you ever thought that most of the time, the root of the problem is……..us?

JOB 19:28  “IF YOU SAY, HOW WILL WE PURSUE HIM, SINCE THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM LIES WITH HIM?”

Often times we look in the wrong place to solve our issues, or we look to the wrong people.  Our Bible is the ultimate wisdom of GOD and every problem we have can be solved by the word of GOD.   Be the one who takes a problem and places it immediately into the SAVIOR’S hand because HE will and HE does solve our issues.  And why do this?  For this…….

2 THESSALONIANS 1:  11  “…….THAT OUR GOD MAY MAKE YOU WORTHY OF HIS CALLING AND MAY FULFILL EVERY RESOLVE FOR GOOD AND EVERY WORK OF FAITH BY HIS POWER.”

When we call on GOD to solve a problem, we are asking for HIS power and we are using and growing our faith and trust.  It’s not our works……..it’s HIS!  Faith by HIS power, not ours, goes a long way doesn’t it?  Faith in GOD’S problem solving brings peace to our hearts beyond understanding.

I have noticed the sooner I turn over my troubles to GOD, the sooner I walk in peace.  And I never walk alone………HE walks with me as soon as I ask.   It’s the wrestling we do as humans that GOD does not want us to do.  HE wants us to come to HIM before anything else, to come before HIM with an open heart and mind.  This is an action of full trust.

ROMANS 8: 28   “AND WE KNOW THAT FOR THOSE WHO LOVE GOD ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD, FOR THOSE WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.”

HIS purpose, HIS plan and our pain and problems all combine into a refinement of our lives.  HE promises to do just that, mature us into Kingdom people through all our problems we encounter and with them we become broken and humbled, but strong and resilient.  And we learn deep in our hearts that all our problems actually are a good thing, not a bad thing.

PSALM 12:  6   “THE WORDS OF THE LORD ARE PURE WORDS, LIKE SILVER REFINED IN A FURNACE ON THE GROUND, PURIFIED SEVEN TIMES.”

HIS pure and perfect word helps us with our problems, it directs us, but it also pulls us back into HIS arms when we don’t know where to turn.  HE is the ultimate problem solver, the master of the universe.  Why would we go anywhere else for help?

PSALM 97: 10 – 12   ” HE PRESERVES THE LIVE OF HIS SAINTS; HE DELIVERS THEM FROM THE HAND OF THE WICKED;  LIGHT IS SOWN FOR THE RIGHTEOUS, AND JOY FOR THE UPRIGHT IN HEART.  REJOICE IN THE LORD, O YOU RIGHTEOUS, AND GIVE THANKS TO HIS HOLY NAME!”

  1. So true that problems make us lean heavily in our saviour. And may we right away go to Him in prayer rather than trying in our own strength to solve it. The peace that comes from Him is like no other.

  2. “And we learn deep in our hearts that all our problems actually are a good thing, not a bad thing.” ….. Because: “HIS purpose, HIS plan and our pain and problems all combine into a refinement of our lives.”

Because we are “conceived in sin,” we have a life-long battle: our will and God’s will. God wins in the end, but the battle brings so much more victory and peace when we bring it all to Him.

    Great post, as always. 😍

  3. You’ve captured the essence of how we can often get overwhelmed by our problems, but when we lay them down at God’s feet, we find peace. It’s so true that we sometimes try to solve things on our own or look to others, but ultimately, God is the one who provides the true solution. I love how you emphasized that it’s through His power and faith that we are strengthened, not through our own works.
