In Christ we, the Body of Christ are being knitted together into a dwelling place for GOD by HIS Spirit…….

EPHESIANS 2: 22   “IN HIM YOU ALSO ARE BEING BUILT TOGETHER INTO A DWELLING PLACE FOR GOD BY THE SPIRIT.”

Coming together and being built together, growing and learning together, is all part of GOD’S plan.   We are being sanctified together too.

GOD IS CONTINUOUSLY BUILDING HIS CHURCH

If we think of ourselves as a small part of this building, with CHRIST as our Cornerstone, then we truly are a part of something bigger than ourselves and more important than ourselves.  

We should not take this building lightly, but see it for what it is:

EPHESIANS 2: 21   “…….IN WHOM THE WHOLE STRUCTURE, BEING JOINED TOGETHER GROWS INTO A HOLY TEMPLE IN THE LORD.”

WE are being built into this HOLY temple daily and because of this there is unity when we realize we are all part of one spiritual family.  So we are never truly alone!   Wherever we may go, we have many brothers and sisters in CHRIST.  Ever notice how when you meet another Christian maybe in the grocery store or on an airplane, home or abroad, that you instantly connect?  Isn’t it quite amazing that this connection even happens?  Only our great and gracious GOD can do this.  HE is quite the Master Builder and quite the connector. 

I love this connection HE gives us to one another and I love knowing that the Body is always growing.  GOD always moves, even when we are unaware.  HE builds us one by one, brick by brick, day by day.  

ALL BELIEVERS TOGETHER BECOME A HABITATION FOR GOD.

ROMANS 12: 5   “…….SO WE, THOUGH MANY, ARE ONE BODY IN CHRIST, AND INDIVIDUALLY MEMBERS ONE OF ANOTHER.”

Our Pastor Adam always tells us that “in this Church, we fly one flag, the flag of Christ.  We may have differences, but we are all completely united with CHRIST as the head of our CHURCH.”  We need to be fully aware of those who might try to divide for their own personal reasons.  These tend to be wolves in sheep clothing.  They are present to consume the Church not to build her up, just as CHRIST is doing.

Take comfort today in knowing that you belong to CHRIST and HIS Church.  HE has opened your eyes to HIMSELF and HIS gospel for a reason……….to help build HIS Holy Temple.  You are an important part of this building because you are gifted and equipped by the Holy Spirit.  Don’t waste your gifts.  Don’t sit back and not contribute to your Church.  Serve, build, give and encourage, loving one another with grateful hearts.  

I am always grateful for the followers here, those who reach out to me.  I feel we know each other and wish like crazy that we could meet in person!  I know I could sit down with each of you over coffee and we would carry on as if we had known one another all our lives!  This is what CHRIST does, building small communities wherever HIS grace and HIS love lands.  

Continue to reach out to one another, building one another up, meeting together because we are helping GOD build HIS church, because of HIS great love for us and because of the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST.  Let’s praise today the ONE who is worthy, the ONE who is building, the One who is our hope, this Master and Savior of the world!

HEBREWS 3: 4   “FOR EVERY HOUSE IS BUILT BY SOMEONE, BUT THE BUILDER OF ALL THINGS IS GOD.”
