SUNDAY REFLECTIONS

KNOW YOUR STORY SO YOU CAN SHARE YOUR STORY.

If you can see GOD’S heart and hand in your story, then you can share your story with others so they will see too.  It’s why we are all here now……..for such a time as this.

Just be who GOD made you to be, HIS child.  And let others hear about your life, your story that is written daily by HIS love.

1 CORINTHIANS 12: 13   “BUT WE HAVE ALL BEEN BAPTIZED INTO ONE BODY BY ONE SPIRIT, AND WE ALL SHARE THE SAME SPIRIT.”

We can share our stories and share in each other’s stories.  Because we are one body, one Spirit and we all answer to the one true GOD.

2 KINGS 19: 15   “YOU ALONE ARE GOD OF ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE EARTH.”

Be intentional about looking at your own story through HIS kingdom lens.  Because first HE saved you……..now HE carries you!

TITUS 3: 5   “HE SAVED US, NOT BY THE RIGHTEOUS DEEDS WE HAD DONE, BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY, THROUGH THE WASHING OF NEW BIRTH AND RENEWAL BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.”

We all have this vast treasure of grace, HIS grace made to share with others.  So listen today to someone’s heart.  And then share yours because it does exemplify HIS grace in your life.  GOD equips each of us so that we can boldly share with others around us.  HIS grace is a light eternal…….it draws people in.

COLOSSIANS 1: 6    “THIS SAME GOOD NEWS THAT CAME TO YOU IS GOING OUT ALL OVER THE WORLD.  IT IS BEARING FRUIT EVERYWHERE BY CHANGING LIVES, JUST AS IT CHANGED YOUR LIVES FROM THE DAY YOU FIRST HEARD AND UNDERSTOOD THE TRUTH ABOUT GOD’S WONDERFUL GRACE.”

I have seen and known HIS grace upon me over and over ever since I was diagnosed with breast cancer almost 2 years ago.  JESUS took my shaky hand and gave me a rock to stand on.  My fear was erased so I was able to battle a deadly foe that I was completely unprepared for.  There is nothing on this planet that sustains like HIS grace giving you the courage and strength you need for any of life’s tough circumstances.

So remember today, the living out of your life and then sharing your life with someone is the gospel message.  Remember this in the places where you work or go, because this goes far beyond any handing out of gospel tracts or witnessing techniques.  Share with love because the world is watching…….and it needs HIS hope and your love.

COLOSSIANS 1: 10   “THEN THE WAY YOU LIVE WILL ALWAYS HONOR AND PLEASE THE LORD, AND YOUR LIVES WILL PRODUCE EVERY KIND OF GOOD FRUIT.  ALL THE WHILE, YOU WILL GROW AS YOU LEARN TO KNOW GOD BETTER AND BETTER.”

  1. It’s interesting that I read your post right after finishing a big scanning project. I scanned old photo albums of our family – my parents’ early years, dating, marriage, and then us kids – into files on my laptop. I’ll be sharing them online with the rest of the family.

That’s part of the story, too, and God draws threads all through the generations to tie us together. I don’t know how many of my ancestors I will meet in Heaven, but I’m glad we will have eternity to discover and delight in all the stories and facets God created.

  2. Thank you for this powerful and heartfelt message. I deeply appreciate the reminder to view our stories through God’s lens and to share His grace with others. Your words about seeing God’s hand in our lives and using our experiences to shine His light are truly inspiring. Your own journey and faith are a testament to His grace, and it encourages me to live and share my story with the same conviction. I am grateful for your insight and the strength it provides in facing life’s challenges.

By the way, as I was watching Christ Church today, your Worship Lead singer today was a Worship Leader at my old Home Church. I was so surprised when I seen him leading Worship today. What a treat and Blessing you all have . He is the writer and singer of Yes I Will which he actually sang today. FYI.

    1. Oh wow! Yes they are incorporating some new leaders only because of multiple services. But our main leader is JOSHUA. His team has actually done some CD’S. If you get Alexa or Google ask it to play “SAINTS ALL SINGING” by Joshua Seller. He wrote it during Covid when we were all away from each other. When I first heard it I balled my eyes out………missing Church.
      Blessings on your day Willie.

  3. Yes, Judd Harris was from our church. If you ever get the chance to talk with him, ask him about Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows. He will be surprised to hear that you know someone from there. He has an amazing and powerful voice.

I have it saved on my YouTube and will try to listen to it at lunch time.

Hope you are and the family are doing well.
