All things that are perfect belong to GOD and GOD only. HE is perfect and true and righteous. HIS perfect love casts out fear.
I’m grateful today that there is ONE perfect ONE……..that means I am not and never will be no matter how hard I try.
The more we read the Gospels, the more we see just how perfect JESUS was and is. And the more we read about HIM, the more we know in our hearts that we will never measure up to that perfection. Knowing this is humbling.
JESUS came at the perfect time in history to fulfill what was required by GOD…….
HEBREWS 10: 14 “FOR BY A SINGLE OFFERING HE HAS PERFECTED FOR ALL TIME THOSE WHO ARE BEING SANCTIFIED.”
ONE SINGLE OFFERING
JESUS alone perfected for us for all time a righteousness through HIS death on a Cross and our sanctification is ongoing.
HEBREWS 10: 17 “I WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS NO MORE.”
ONE PERFECT LAMB
Perfect timing and a perfect sacrifice and oh a perfect love and grace given to us!
HEBREWS 2: 10 “FOR IT WAS FITTING THAT HE, FOR WHOM AND BY WHOM ALL THINGS EXIST, IN BRINGING MANY SONS TO GLORY, SHOULD MAKE THE FOUNDER OF THEIR SALVATION PERFECT THROUGH SUFFERING.”
ONE SUFFERING SAVIOR
GOD’S only SON was the perfect sacrifice for us and HIS suffering was for our intended glory.
ONE PERFECT GRACE
If you study JESUS and really get to know HIM and HIS ways, you will see through HIS truth how perfect HE is and how imperfect we are! The closer we stand in the shadow of the Cross, the more we see we will never, ever measure up!

ONE PERFECT WORD
Draw near today to the ONE perfect lamb of GOD, Son of GOD, Jesus! HIS perfect way and HIS perfect sacrifice was for you and for me. Oh what perfection this is! Oh what a perfect and Sovereign JESUS we have to draw near to. Oh what a perfect gift!
HEBREWS 5: 9 “AND BEING MADE PERFECT HE BECAME THE SOURCE OF ETERNAL SALVATION TO ALL WHO OBEY HIM.”

Knowing this is humbling.” And it’s a wonderful thing, knowing we will never measure up – that helps us keep a clean slate in confessing; but also is a comfort in knowing He has an open door always, and invites us to Himself.

The closer we draw to the Lord, the more we become aware of our imperfections and it is very humbling to think of how wonderful He is and yet He gave His life so that we can be saved.
