We really do have all we need. If you are in CHRIST, you have all you need. Did you know?
The world tells us we need more and more. But striving for the world’s stuff and philosophies will leave you discontented and unhappy. They are dead ends. But if JESUS is your LORD and your SAVIOR, all you will ever need is in HIM and through HIM.
COLOSSIANS 3: 8 “SEE TO IT THAT NO ONE TAKES YOU CAPTIVE BY PHILOSOPHY AND EMPTY DECEIT, ACCORDING TO HUMAN TRADITION, ACCORDING TO THE ELEMENTAL SPIRITS OF THE WORLD, AND NOT ACCORDING TO CHRIST.”
The world can captivate us, but so will JESUS CHRIST. If your relationship with HIM is close and abiding, then HE alone captivates you. HE is your SAVIOR, your all and all and you cannot imagine your life without HIM in it. I often wonder how do people live without HIM? Oh how their lives must be full of heartaches, stuggles and need. Oh how my life is full of the same. But the difference is that I have someone who walks with me, hand in hand, faithful and true, loving me in spite of myself! All of this truly is HIS loving grace.
We recently moved and oh how HE was with us! It all could have been very stressful, but I never lost one night’s sleep. I didn’t worry about the approval of our loan, the inspection on our old house and new one too. None of it worried me. I just gave it all up into HIS capable hands because there were too many details, all too overwhelming. I thought that if GOD wants us to move to a smaller place, that HE would make it happen. And HIS hand guided us through each step in order for us to be where we are now. Being in the world and not of it is something JESUS wants us to understand and learn how to do. HE wants us to get used to being different.
JOHN 14: 17 “…….EVEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, BECAUSE IT NEITHER SEES HIM NOR KNOWS HIM. YOU KNOW HIM, FOR HE DWELLS WITH YOU AND WILL BE IN YOU.”
The LORD GOD dwells with us and is in us. Therefore, we really do have all we will ever need in this life. Isn’t that a wonderful thought? Isn’t that a comfort? And it’s HIS promise to you…….so embrace this today and realize you don’t really need anything, you just need and have………JESUS!
REVELATION 21: 23 “AND THE CITY HAS NO NEED OF SUN OR MOON TO SHINE ON IT, FOR THE GLORY OF GOD GIVES IT LIGHT, AND ITS LAMP IS THE LAMB.”
HEAVENSREEF 
God really does know how to comfort us, and He does comfort us. We learn, day by day, how to receive and appropriate that comfort, and rest in the peace it brings.

Such a lovely reminder. Each day we have new hurdles, and new “opportunities” to either worry or place our trust in Jesus. What a gift we have in Him! 🙌

Then Lord does want us to get used to being different, where our lives are a testament to trust and dependence on Him 🙏🏽. I could just not imagine having to navigate life without the comfort and assurance of His presence in my life.
