RECOUNT HIS WONDERFUL DEEDS

RECOUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

We can either focus on what we do have or what we do not have.  We can be grateful for GOD’S mercy towards us, or we can be resentful for the unanswered prayers we say.  GOD answers them all in HIS own way and in HIS own timing.

Today, take some time to recount HIS wonderful deeds and grace towards you.

PSALM 9: 1    “I WILL GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD WITH MY WHOLE HEART; I WILL RECOUNT ALL OF YOUR WONDERFUL DEEDS.”

In our way of faith; it truly is better to recount HIS wonderful deeds rather than focusing on all the problems that overwhelm us.  Focus on the Creator rather than the problems.

As for me, I notice that when I remind myself what GOD has done for me, my countenance is more positive and joyful.  And shouldn’t we all have joy in the LORD?

RECOUNT HIS WONDERFUL WAYS!

When you remember the LORD, praise HIM for HIS mercy upon you today, rather than judgement.  What has HE done for you recently?  What has HE protected you from?  Oh, count the ways that the LORD is good!

For our family, my husband who was diagnosed last August with a rare blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma, is currently in complete remission.  When we started this journey, learning that this particular cancer has no cure, I never imagined we would be here 8 months later, but for HIS grace, here we are!  Praise GOD!  Oh LORD, what a wonderful deed you have done!

GOD IN HIS COMPASSION CAN WITHHOLD FROM US WHAT HE COULD INSTEAD JUSTLY GIVE.

ROMANS 9:  15-16   “I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I HAVE MERCY, AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOM I HAVE COMPASSION.  SO THEN, IT DOES NOT DEPEND ON MAN’S DESIRE OR EFFORT, BUT ON GOD’S MERCY.”

So then, it depends not on us at all, but on the GOD who has all mercy and has all compassion and chooses to lavish them upon us at HIS own will and doing.

Our great GOD redeems, restores and remakes.  HE never leaves us alone, but HE does leave us better than when HE found us!  Oh what a wonderful Savior.  Oh let’s recount HIS wonderful deeds today!

ISAIAH 54: 8   “…….BUT WITH EVERLASTING LOVE I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON YOU SAYS THE LORD, YOUR REDEEMER.”

  1. Oh Hallelujah for God’s great healing and grace!!! ♥‼ Thank you for sharing the wonderful news of your husband’s remission. I praise the Lord with you. 🙌

Gratefulness is a common theme today. I just finished Brenda’s blog (Becoming His Tapestry) with similar notes; and published my own, sounding the same good news.

    God is GOOD!
