The world is on fire right now and it brings us all to our knees and why?
BECAUSE WE CANNOT SEE AS GOD SEES.
No we are not Sovereign and we are not GOD, we are just plain sinners living out our lives here on this scorched earth and trying to make sense of all this madness.
EZEKIEL 6:3 “AND SAY, YOU MOUNTAINS OF ISRAEL, HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD GOD! THUS SAYS THE LORD GOD TO THE MOUNTAINS AND THE HILLS, TO THE RAVINES AND THE VALLEYS: BEHOLD, I EVEN I WILL BRING A SWORD UPON YOU, AND I WILL DESTROY YOUR HIGH PLACES.”
The message in this passage is that JUDAH’S idolatry would surely bring GOD’S judgement upon them. And because we cannot see as GOD sees, how do we not know that the destruction that is happening now is not GOD’S judgement?
The LORD gives and the LORD takes away. We don’t know what will come next, but we sure know that GOD is always in control. So when wars and strife put fear into you, remind yourself that GOD knows every little thing that is happening……..because HE sees in a way that we don’t. I don’t pretend to understand all HIS ways, but I do know that in all of HIS ways, HE works for the good of those who love HIM.
Let’s remind ourselves today of this:
ISAIAH 40:11 “HE TENDS HIS FLOCK LIKE A SHEPHERD; HE GATHERS THE LAMBS IN HIS ARMS AND CARRIES THEM CLOSE TO HIS HEART…….”
HE knows us and keeps us close in HIS heart, because HE sees and knows all that there is, and all that is coming.
So put your fear away today when you read any news. Stand strong on your faith and HIS Sovereign word! Pour HIS words into you, instead of all the hard news around you. Isn’t it better to stand on the CORNERSTONE instead of this world?
Do not let your heart be troubled, because JESUS warned us these days would come…….
“THEREFORE I TELL YOU, DO NOT WORRY ABOUT YOUR LIFE, WHAT YOU WILL EAT OR DRINK; OR ABOUT YOUR BODY, WHAT YOU WILL WEAR.”
Do not worry dear Christian and do not fear, because there are many things we do not see……because HE sees ALL, does ALL and is in control today, tomorrow and the next day.
GOD ALONE IS OUR SOVEREIGN KING, the GOD of the universe and of the mountains and seas. Take heart and hold onto and behold your GOD today. Because HE sees all that we can’t!
DANIEL 4: 25 “SEVEN TIMES WILL PASS BY FOR YOU UNTIL YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE MOST HIGH IS SOVEREIGN OVER ALL KINGDOMS ON EARTH AND GIVES THEM TO ANYONE HE WISHES.”
