GOD proves HIS divine providence in the sunrise and sunset every day. So don’t give up on any of it thinking HE has left you. Sometimes we pray and pray and seem to get no answer and over time our image of GOD diminishes. But when HE doesn’t answer us, we should allow our image of HIM to grow larger!
2 PETER 1: 3 “HIS DIVINE POWER HAS GIVEN US EVERYTHING WE NEED FOR A GODLY LIFE THROUGH OUR KNOWLEDGE OF HIM WHO CALLED US BY HIS OWN GLORY AND GOODNESS.”
HIS divine power……..it is there whether we see it or not. Thank you GOD!

So when you think HIS hand of providence is just not there…….go big. Remind yourself of all HIS past blessings for you and know HE is the GOD of the universe, with all glory, goodness and might. HE is our total strength and a very present help in times of trouble.
Continue to call upon HIM…….don’t ever give up. Our great GOD never gives up on us……it’s why HE went to the Cross. What a wonderful redeemer, what a wonderful GOD we have……ONE who provides! HE is working all those details out, even when we cannot see. Rest today in HIS divine providence and find peace.

This subject (“unanswered prayer”) intrigued me so much, I did some research and spoke on it at a prayer retreat. Then, after two years of reading the Bible Genesis to Revelation and taking note of every instance of ineffective prayer, I ended up writing a book on it, entitled “BARRIERS.” (The subtitle is, “So, if prayers are so powerful, how come mine don’t get answered?”)
There are numerous reasons, but it’s never God’s fault. 😉
