HEAVENSREEF

My husband is going through a tough time.  Something is going on with his kidneys and doctors haven’t gotten to the bottom of it.  We went to emergency yesterday and they admitted him late afternoon.  But in the midst of all this scary stuff, I could see GOD’S timing and HIS kindness. 

I dropped my husband off so I could go park the car and by the time I found the emergency area, he was already being checked in, blood pressure cuff on etc.  Then we sat down in the waiting area and that’s when we saw all the people coming.  Some I wondered if they were sick from this heat we are under.  But knowing and believing in GOD’S perfect timing, I was thankful we weren’t in the long line of people that was forming.  Before we knew it, we were being taken back to a room.  See, GOD’S timing was perfect…….HE is so kind that way!

PSALM 31: 15  “MY TIMES ARE IN YOUR HANDS.”

GOD KNOWS HOW TO TOUCH US……..HE knows just what we need and when we need it.  We need only to be still.  I think it amazing how HE sends just the right person at the right time…….our lives are a moment in time really, a vapor.

“AND HE SAID TO THEM, IT IS NOT FOR YOU TO KNOW TIMES OR SEASONS WHICH THE FATHER HAS PUT IN HIS OWN AUTHORITY.”

GOD is kind this way too, just knowing that all is under HIS authority takes our worries from us and places them upon JESUS.  Thank you JESUS for YOUR kindness!

And in HIS kindness GOD touched my family this way…….the leader of my small group was a chaplain for many years at the hospital where my husband is and he knows and is good friends with the current chaplain.  So today he is giving him a call to come to my husband I hope and to give him some comfort.  Once again look and take note of who GOD sends, what HE does just for you.  HE is forever kind to us and may we always be thankful for that.  Because HE sees us and how often are we all caught up in our troubles and we fail to see HIM?

I don’t know what today will bring, but I do know that GOD is kind to me and HE holds my heart in HIS wonderful, capable, kind hands.

TITUS 3: 4-5  “BUT WHEN THE KINDNESS AND THE LOVE OF GOD OUR SAVIOR TOWARD MAN APPEARED, NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH WE HAVE DONE, BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED US……..”
