Oh that I may know him…….let this be our hearts desire.

PHILIPPIANS 3:10  “THAT I MAY KNOW HIM…….”

Let us continually seek a relationship with JESUS.   Because HE who died for us, is also alive in us! And so we trust HIM, because trusting HIM with all that we are is to know HIM, truly know HIM and then to love HIM.

So to obey and to know and to remain faithful to HIM takes commitment on our part.  In all of this HIS power is made known to us, especially in all our sufferings.  Those sufferings of ours become a faithful witness to others in this broken world.

PHILIPPIANS 3: 10  “……..AND THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION, AND MAY SHARE HIS SUFFERINGS, BECOMING LIKE HIM IN HIS DEATH.”

Becoming like HIM………more of HIM and less of me.   Do we really know HIM today or are we just aware of HIM?  Because it really isn’t about me, it’s all about HIM!

OH MAY THE SPIRIT TRANSFORM US INTO JESUS LIKENESS DURING OUR YEARS HERE ON THIS EARTH!

ISAIAH 60: 16  “THEN YOU WILL KNOW THAT I, THE LORD, AM YOUR SAVIOR, YOUR REDEEMER, THE MIGHTY ONE OF JACOB.”

To know HIM is to know you have a Savior, and a redeemer.  And to know this is everything……it is a lasting treasure and a comfort of the soul.  There is peace to be found with HIM, perspective, protection and purpose.  What a gift of grace from HIM!  What a gift to accept with all our being. What a gift when you know that this amazing JESUS  loved us enough to die for our sins so we could spend all of eternity with HIM.   What a gift that truly sets us free!

ISAIAH 60: 19  “…….FOR THE LORD WILL BE YOUR EVERLASTING LIGHT, AND YOUR GOD WILL BE YOUR GLORY.”
