The Christian walk……..is a forever walk. When you believe JESUS died for your sins and when HE sits on the throne of your life…….you have eternity in your future.
JOHN 3: 36 “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN THE SON HAS ETERNAL LIFE.”
Whoever believes, whoever comes…….all are welcome. And when we have accepted JESUS into our heart then we set ourselves upon a remarkable forever journey.
The Christian walk is not a sprint…….it truly is a marathon. It becomes a journey that will never end really. We do not see GOD now, but one day we will, and then we will be with HIM……forever.
JOHN 10: 28 “I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE, AND THEY WILL NEVER PERISH, AND NO ONE WILL SNATCH THEM OUT OF MY HAND.”
With JESUS our journey becomes one of wonder, reverence and worship and much praise. We learn too, because JESUS has us in HIS classroom and HIS word comes alive in our hearts. We abide with our Messiah, the ONE who opened our eyes to our purpose and has given us a new heart, mind and soul.
JOHN 14: 6 “I AM THE WAY, AND THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.”
Isn’t it a comfort to know………that when we die, the best part of our journey begins? We will not only die, but we will be transformed into HIS presence and live in our forever home. We will be received by JESUS who died in our place, just so we could be with HIM. Who does that? Who dies on a Cross for anyone? And who dies and even in HIS last moments, forgives and receives the criminal hanging on a cross beside HIM into paradise? Let’s never forget that forgiveness and grace are a big part of this remarkable forever journey.
The LORD is our guide on this journey, because HE is gentle and merciful while we are still here on this earth. But it is all for our good…….so we will find our way to our forever home.
How wonderful to know too………that we do not walk this path to our forever home alone? GOD gives us the Body of Christ to walk with us in prayer, worship and gathering together.
The best place to be on this journey is with your fellow believers. We were not meant to walk this road alone. So GOD in HIS infinite wisdom finds a place for us, so that we can live, serve HIM and grow in knowledge in our local Churches. Find one who honors CHRIST through and through. Any Church that is a seeker Church or one who embraces these so-called woke policies is on the wrong path. Pray to GOD that HE finds you the right Church home until you go to your forever home.
Praise GOD today…….praise HIM in knowing that HE, in HIS infinite love for you, has set you on your own individual grace-filled journey. HE wants you home someday to live in HIS presence forever.
JOHN 14: 23 “IF ANYONE LOVES ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORD, AND MY FATHER WILL LOVE HIM, AND WE WILL COME TO HIM AND MAKE OUR HOME WITH HIM.”

Indeed, grace, forgiveness, and mercy from Jesus Every Single Day. He blesses us so much. May we open our eyes to His amazing presence and work in our lives.

Beautiful, Maxine. I’ve been to some “seeker” churches, and while the concept is valid, the problem was that the “seekers” didn’t really find anything!
I am so blessed to be in a church that, in my opinion, does it right. They bear one another’s burdens (everything from bringing meals after a birth or surgery, to helping with moving, to rides to the airport, to last-minute babysitting … you name it.). They pray for one another, rejoice when the prayers are answered, evangelize their coworkers, neighbors, and anyone else who would listen … And coming together on Sunday to sing the Lord’s praises, hear an awesome message right out of the Word of God, and fellowship is like being in heaven for a few hours. I truly believe that it was the enemy’s plan during the shutdown to pull us apart, because when we aren’t coming together, we are like half-burned logs that have been separated – the fire goes out.

So glad to hear you are in a Church that stands upon GOD’S word! The Body of Christ can be pretty amazing when the Church stands and sits under one flag (as our Pastor Adam says). We fly the only flag of JESUS CHRIST! To hear the Gospel preached every single week as we gather with one another is so convicting……and then we scatter to spread the Gospel in our neighborhoods and work places too. So thankful the enemy will NOT win!
