I have seen a field looking just like the above picture while driving through New Mexico.  It was breathtaking and knowing that GOD’S hand was in creating it, I was driven to joyful tears.  I knew what I saw, the beauty of it and the beautiful heart of our CREATOR.

OUR EYES SEE EVIDENCE OF THE CREATOR ESPECIALLY IN NATURE

The intricate beauty that is all around the world, tells us about the beautiful nature of our GOD and how much more we will see one day in Heaven!  What we can see here confirms what we cannot see…..there is beauty and a delicate loveliness our GOD possesses that we will see one day after we leave this broken world.

THE GREAT GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, MAKER OF ALL THINGS, IS ALL GOD, POWERFUL AND PURE, MAKING BEAUTY BEYOND OUR IMAGINATIONS.

ECCLESIASTES 3:11  “HE HAS MADE EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IN IT’S TIME.”

The opposite of all this beauty is also the ugliness and evil that is prevailing right now, right before our very eyes……

There was a recent video of a woman on a Church’s steps holding a baby doll and screaming about babies and killing them.  This image was so sick and twisted I will always remember it, but I wish my eyes had not witnessed it.

And so seeing this evil makes me realize that there is even more evil that I cannot see, more dark than I could ever imagine and that satan is alive and very real.

BECAUSE OF WHAT I SEE, I BELIEVE WHAT I CANNOT SEE.

Because our eyes witness evil, we know then, that there is a GOD and that HE is good and that satan is the current ruler of the evil in this world.

3 JOHN 11  “WHOEVER DOES GOOD IS FROM GOD; WHOEVER DOES EVIL HAS NOT SEEN GOD.”

And there it is…….those who do evil have not seen GOD.  They don’t even know HIM, have not heard HIS sweet whisper, read HIS powerful words, or known HIS amazing grace.

I cannot see my GOD, but I have experienced HIM in my life.  When I thought life was hopeless and I was powerless, HE guided me through those tough times and still does today.  No one else on this planet helps me in the way HE does.  No one loves the way HE does and no one knows me like HE does.

THE ALL POWERFUL GOD OF THE UNIVERSE KNOWS ME AND HE KNOWS YOU TOO!

PSALM 139: 3  “YOU OBSERVE MY TRAVELS AND MY REST; YOU ARE AWARE OF ALL MY WAYS.”

Our GOD “sees” us even when we do not see HIM!  HE knows the secrets of our souls, and yet HE still loves us.  The proof is that HIS SON died for our sins on the Cross.  Yes, HE is a good good GOD and one day will take this broken down world and restore it and make it new. This is our hope of what we cannot see, but we know, because we know HIS heart.

REVELATION 21:  1  “THEN I SAW A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH;  FOR THE FIRST HEAVEN AND THE FIRST EARTH HAD PASSED AWAY, AND THE SEA WAS NO MORE.”

Because of what I can see, I know that what I cannot see is possible and with GOD all things are possible. Evil is present, but GOD reigns!  And HE always will.

The familiar saying of “seeing is believing” can be applied here, but oh so much of GOD and the principalities of Heaven we cannot see for now.  We cannot see what is coming or what is right around the corner……..but let us trust that GOD is on HIS throne!  That is our hope and our faith and our trust in our SAVIOR.  HE is and always will be……..an amazing GOD who is always working……..even when we cannot see!

ISAIAH 6: 10  “OTHERWISE THEY MIGHT SEE WITH THEIR EYES, HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEARTS, AND TURN AND BE HEALED.”
