HEAVENSREEF

I often watch the birds soar high above our backyard fence.  And sometimes I wish I could go with them.  We all know that GOD takes care of each one and provides for them and how much more does HE provide for us!

Our present world offers only anger and strife.  It is hard not to become discouraged.  How we long for HIS kingdom!  The darker our world becomes, the more JESUS and all HIS goodness and righteousness shines like a bright beacon of light……

ISAIAH 2: 5  “HOUSE OF JACOB, COME AND LET US WALK IN THE LORD’S LIGHT.”

Being drawn into the world’s problems and letting them overwhelm us will only bring our souls low.  But with the Shepherd, our souls can soar!

1 PETER 2: 25  “…….BUT YOU HAVE NOW RETURNED TO THE SHEPHERD AND OVERSEER OF YOUR SOULS.”

What a comfort to know that HE is watching over our very souls!  Have you fully returned to your first love Christian?  When we love and embrace JESUS and worship HIM with all heart, our spirits soar!

We are blessed with an incredible worship team at my Church and our songs worship JESUS.  Pay attention to songs sung these days…..some focus on the individual and due to woke Churches songs even sound more secular than a true worship song. Worship songs lift up JESUS with awe and wonder.

When I am in the company of my fellow believers, my heart and spirit soar in the midst of those worship songs.  We lift up our SAVIOR and our hands before HIM……we soar in our song!

Doesn’t knowing that the LORD has forgiven your sins, make your spirit soar above all else?  And that soaring of your soul is true, true freedom!

2 CORINTHIANS 3: 17  “NOW THE LORD IS THE SPIRIT AND WHERE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS, THERE IS FREEDOM.”

When we have the SHEPHERD we have all we need.  HE is far better than gold or anything this broken world has to offer…….

PSALM 23: 1  “THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I HAVE ALL I NEED.”

Realizing this amazing gift of JESUS should make our spirits soar and cause us to live with continuous joy.  And people around us need to see this joy so they will ask the reason why we have it.  Share HIS joy with those around you today.

Draw near and draw close to JESUS.  Let’s allow HIS joy to be upon us daily.  HE has saved us all from certain death!  HE died for us so that we would spend eternity with HIM.  What a thought that goes beyond our understanding.  What a thought that can lift us high in the lowest valley.  What a thought that is sure to make our spirits soar now and for all of eternity!

ISAIAH 12:  3-5  “YOU WILL JOYFULLY DRAW WATER FROM THE SPRINGS OF SALVATION, AND ON THAT DAY YOU WILL SAY:  “GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD; PROCLAIM HIS NAME!  MAKE HIS WORKS KNOWN AMONG THE PEOPLES.  DECLARE THAT HIS NAME IS EXALTED.  SING TO THE LORD FOR HE HAS DONE GLORIOUS THINGS.  LET THIS BE KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE EARTH.”
