Is anyone else feeling it?  The moments of grief and despair releasing and the ability to look HOPE square in the eye and realize this:

PSALM 39: 7  “AND NOW, O LORD, FOR WHAT DO I WAIT?  MY HOPE IS IN YOU.”

Spring has sprung here in AZ……yes we have heat to deal with too.  But it isn’t that hot yet.  Low 100’s are a breeze to live with when you have felt 120 degrees!  Right now many of our trees are blooming beautiful yellow blooms and they cover the ground in blankets of yellow.  Absolutely gorgeous!  And absolutely victorious!  What once was bare is now on gorgeous display.

Cactus actually bloom here too……I have seen cars driving by homes capturing a picture of the colorful blooms.  The desert isn’t all boring and GOD has found a way to make the desert appear victorious even in the stifling heat.  So what is my point here?

THE LORD OUR GOD IS ABSOLUTELY VICTORIOUS!

HE is Omnipotent, Holy, Wise and Sovereign, yes HE is absolutely victorious in all things!

CHRIST WAS VICTORIOUS ON THE CROSS…….FOR YOU AND FOR ME.

And because of our faith in HIM, we will one day be victorious too.

2 TIMOTHY 4: 8 “HENCEFORTH THERE IS LAID UP FOR ME THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHICH THE LORD , THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, WILL AWARD TO ME ON THAT DAY, AND NOT ONLY TO ME BUT ALSO TO ALL WHO HAVE LOVED HIS APPEARING.”

We enjoy victory every single day in our faith as well…….

1 JOHN 5:4  “FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN BORN OF GOD OVERCOMES THE WORLD.  AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD – OUR FAITH.”

I don’t know about you, but sometimes it seems a victory just to make it through these tough days we are currently in, with our faith still strong and intact. But we are unable to do that without our GOD!  Our GOD who is absolutely victorious!

And let’s remember this too:

1 CORINTHIANS 15: 54-55 “WHEN THE PERISHABLE PUTS ON THE IMPERISHABLE, AND THE MORTAL PUTS ON IMMORTALITY, THEN SHALL COME TO PASS THE SAYING THAT IS WRITTEN:   DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY.” O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?

In the shadow of the CROSS we see there is victory only in and through JESUS CHRIST!  HE was victorious on that 3rd day to defeat death, and because of HIS sacrifice for us, we will have victory one day too.

JESUS IS ABSOLUTELY VICTORIOUS!

And we can live victorious every day minus guilt and condemnation from the enemy.  We can move forward each day without fear because in any situation we may face, GOD is already there, handling it in a victorious way.  Why?

BECAUSE OUR GOD IS ABSOLUTELY VICTORIOUS IN ALL THINGS!

So whatever you are facing right now, don’t despair.  Look to the only ONE who is and always will be victorious in all things, yes, even in yours and my situation.  Because of the Cross and because of who GOD is…….there will be victory!

PSALM 48: 10  “AS YOUR NAME DESERVES, O GOD, YOU WILL BE PRAISED TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. YOUR STRONG RIGHT HAND IS FILLED WITH VICTORY.”
