We honored our LORD JESUS CHRIST during this past Holy Week and at Easter, but let’s remember that if it weren’t for JESUS, we would all be doomed to a hell beyond our imaginations!

1 CORINTHIANS: 42-43 “SO IS IT WITH THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD.  WHAT IS SOWN IS PERISHABLE; WHAT IS RAISED IS IMPERISHABLE.  IT IS SOWN IN DISHONOR; IT IS RAISED IN GLORY.  IT IS SOWN IN WEAKNESS; IT IS RAISED IN POWER.”

IF it weren’t for JESUS, we wouldn’t understand what resurrection is and redemption means and that we have a future after death and that death is not the end! 

JOHN 17: 3 “AND THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE, THAT THEY KNOW YOU, THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST WHOM YOU HAVE SENT.”

IF it weren’t for JESUS, we wouldn’t know and experience love and desire the unconditional love that only GOD can give us.

IF it weren’t for JESUS, we wouldn’t understand grace upon grace that we receive from HIM daily in all of our lives.

AND IF IT WEREN’T FOR JESUS WE WOULDN’T EVEN KNOW THIS…….

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME AND HIS PROMISES ARE TRUE FOREVER.

IF it weren’t for JESUS, who would we praise and who would we glorify and know in our hearts that HE is above all and is lifted higher than the highest mountain?

PSALM 5: 11 “BUT LET ALL WHO TAKE REFUGE IN YOU REJOICE; LET THEM EVER SING FOR JOY, AND SPREAD YOUR PROTECTION OVER THEM, THAT THOSE WHO LOVE YOUR NAME MAY EXULT IN YOU.”

IF it weren’t for the Cross and JESUS dying there……for our sins……what would we have left?

Absolutely nothing but darkness upon us each day.

Because of JESUS we see that the light always shines through the darkness we face and let’s remember this:

JOHN 8: 12 “AGAIN JESUS SPOKE TO THEM, SAYING, “I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.  WHOEVER FOLLOWS ME WILL NOT WALK IN DARKNESS, BUT WILL HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE”.

Yes, HE is the light of the world…….praise the ONE today who is worthy, all worthy of honor and glory.  Praise the ONE who took the nails for you and for me.  And remember today that if it weren’t for JESUS we wouldn’t be alive and free in the Spirit from our sins. 

WHEN WE HAVE JESUS, WE HAVE EVERYTHING!

When we have JESUS we have immeasurable blessings, not only in this life, but in the one to come.  Honor HIM today and every day, in your own way.  But honor HIM, do not take HIS grace for you for granted.

JESUS DIED ONE FRIDAY AND ROSE ON SUNDAY TO SIT AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER IN HEAVEN.  HE WAITS FOR US THERE, TO WELCOME US HOME.

And because of JESUS, HE died a death on a criminal’s CROSS……why?  Because HE couldn’t live without you and me!  HIS mercy and HIS love for us reaches as far as the east is from the west.

Thank you JESUS, for all you did for us……..may we never forget!

JOHN 3: 16 “FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIVE.”
