GOD in HIS infinite, perfect love for us, always loves us and always does what is best for us……….
GOD IS ALWAYS PRESENT AND NEAR
2 CORINTHIANS 2: 14 “BUT THANKS BE TO GOD, WHO IN CHRIST ALWAYS LEADS US IN TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION, AND THROUGH US SPREADS THE FRAGRANCE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM EVERYWHERE.”
GOD IS AN ALWAYS GOD. HE is not a sometimes GOD…….but always and forever! HE remembers always. HE loves always. And because HE has always loved us, even before we were born, HIS always shows where our always seems to fall short because we are a sinful people.
DEUTERONOMY 14: 23 “…….SO THAT YOU MAY LEARN TO REVERE THE LORD YOUR GOD ALWAYS.”
Do we revere HIM always? What about when we knowingly sin? What about when we snap at anything that moves? And what about when I put myself on the throne of my life instead of my GOD?
All the above should drive us into HIS always there for you…….arms, and ask for complete and utter forgiveness. LORD, we are sorry. Since we are human, imperfect beings and prone to sin our always even for GOD tends to fall short.
There are so many scriptures that instruct us to always praise, pray and rejoice. But living in this evil world pulls us away from these important things to do…….it always does if you think about it. Scripture also commands us to always be a thankful people. Maybe just in this we can do better……maybe in our continued thankfulness, then our always will become more true.
PROVERBS 28: 14 “BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO IS ALWAYS REVERENT, BUT HE WHO HARDENS HIS HEART FALLS INTO TROUBLE.”
A reverent heart is where we need to start………always. Placing HIM first in your life is key, make HIM your only priority. Remember HIM always as you begin each and every day.
DEUTERONOMY 5: 29a “OH THAT THEY HAD SUCH A HEART AS THIS ALWAYS, TO FEAR ME AND TO KEEP ALL MY COMMANDS.”
LORD, help us to be an “always” kind of people because we cannot do it alone.
DEUTERONOMY 5: 29b “……..THAT IT MIGHT GO WELL WITH THEM AND WITH THEIR DESCENDANTS FOREVER!”
So that…….it might go well with them. An always people will be blessed by an always GOD. HE always is the answer to all we know. And HE always is there to give us the grace and mercy we so desperately need!
EPHESIANS 5: 20 “……..GIVING THANKS ALWAYS AND FOR EVERYTHING TO GOD THE FATHER IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.”
